what is the size for large?

Is the ring the leash attaches to metal and is the size adjuster metal or are either of these parts plastic?

2 different leashes came off

The ring on this collar where a leash attaches is relatively flat so if you have an active dog the leash clasp can get turned to an angle where it can open and come off the collar altogether. The first time it happened we blamed the leash and it was lucky it happened indoors. The second time was with a different leash outdoors and we nearly lost our newly rescued dog by a busy road.

15 minute collar

This collar lasted all of 15 minutes. It was funny to me because we put Karma out on a chain since we have poison ivy in the yard. I didn’t notice she broke free until I saw what I thought was our neighbors dog in our yard. lol. It was Karma that broke the collar
