Great Leashes

I bought these as I am boarding my dogs in the near future & they recommended these type of leashes. These are excellent....well-made & excellent material. Even my daughter, who had bought similar ones, commented at the quality of these. Chewy comes through AGAIN!!!

Wish I would have looked for something nicer

mine did not come with a leather stopper as shown in the photo so the loop changes sizes while in use which is less than ideal. Also rope is not very supple. would have rather spent more on something that was of more quality.

great emergency leash

We use these at a shelter where I am a volunteer. Easy to loop over a dog's neck and take them to a yard to run. We also use them as a security second leash when walking the dogs off the property. I keep one in my car for the odd chance one of my dogs gets out of my yard, or I see a wandering stray that needs help to safety. Overall a great product, sturdy and easy to use.

It's is just fine

This leash is perfectly adequate for the price. It is not my personal preference as it just feels cheaper along side the "name" brand. I would return it but it's fine for a backup. If you need something to go over your dog's neck that won't break this is fine.

slip lead 2

I am very happy with my purchase. the lead works well.. It's only been a short amount of time so I can't tell if it will last, but right now, I have no complaints. I bought the 1/2" and I wonder if the 1/4" would have been tighter and more effective, that's my only wonder.

we had been using a martingale collar before and he pulls so hard. putting this lead on he is better, he still pulls, but he also listens better!

Great Leash for Training

My dog Trainer recommended this Slip Leash to use when my dog misbehaves. It's easy to use, and I can step on the leash to prevent my dog from running from me when he's in trouble. He knows when he's in trouble, and if I can't grab the leash in time. I can step on it, and it stops my dog in his tracks. I highly recommend this leash for training purposes.

I love the strength of the leash for control but wish it came in smaller proportions for medium dogs.
