Luna had surgery and was given a plastic collar that seemed so uncomfortable. I bought her this collar which she used as a pillow. She found comfort in laying on it to sleep as she healed. I would recommend this to any pet owner looking for an alternative to the plastic cone they give at the hospital.

I use this non inflatable collar because it keeps my dog from escaping through the bars on my aluminum fence & taking off. The collar is sturdy, easy to put on & off as I removed the inside strap but it still has secure Velcro at each end of the collar plus another Velcro strap that goes around the outside of the collar The Velcro lasts about a year & I use this collar 4 times a day & it doesn’t inhibit the dog in any way. She can eat, drink, sleep, roll around & play with it on & it doesn’t knock over anything either. She wears it willingly I highly recommend this collar & have also bought it in XXL for a 140 pound Newfie that was neutered & it stood up very well

Emmy, my 15yr old husky, has managed to give herself a few hotspots recently and the ol' plastic cone-of-shame was just not working out well. She continually ran it into things, (frequently my legs, ouch!!) and seemed to struggle reaching her food bowl to eat. I wanted to try a donut style collar but worried she'd damage an inflatable one too easily... I was very happy to find this foam filled version which seemed like a good alternative! It's a bit pricey, but the fact that she seems much more comfortable in this collar, (and the bruises on my legs are healing!) make it worth every penny! I loved the option for the fun leopard print since Emmy is a stylish kinda girl!

Finding collars for large dogs is difficult. Finding one that is comfortable and works well even more so. This collar is soft, fits well for our dog's 26 inch neck and was easy to use. Our dog actually didn't mind it - mostly. Thanks, Chewy for getting it here before Yummer's surgery - so appreciated!

We originally purchased a regular cone after our sweet girl had surgery, but she had difficulties walking and couldn’t eat or drink. I found this one online and am so happy that I did because she goes outside, can go on walks, and eat and drink with this cone. She actually prefers to sleep with the regular cone than this one because this cone forces her to sleep with her head upright, so we swap it out at night. The downside of this cone is the Velcro has already stopped working and it hasn’t even been a full 2 weeks. It’s a 50 collar. the Velcro should still be working 2 weeks later. Kind of ridiculous. I’d still recommend it overall.

Quality product -- and CUTE too!

The dog LOVED this collar. It was MUCH better than the "cone". Comfortable for the dog, yet big enough to prevent him from reaching his surgery site. Well worth
