I feed this product to my horse daily to help prevent ulcers and its a lot easier to give then ulcergard/gastrogard. Its also great because you can give the horse a scoop before you go show or before a stressful event. My horse used to eat it out of my hand, but now he just eats it in his grain.
We were saying goodbye to my healthy horse that my vet and second vet had no clue why he is sick. I decided that it was an acid stomach problem. I started him on double amount paste then double amount for 6 months of pellets. I now just do maintenance of once a day. It works and much cheaper than other products on the market.
I really appreciate that it’s available in pellet form. A great daily management supplement for those anxious horses that get a little girthy with changes in routines or trailering short distances.
I have been giving this to all my OTTBs over the years and l swear by it.
I used the powder but my horse didn't like it so I got the pellets, so happy Chewy has them now and cheaper than the tack store, my horse likes the pellets better.
