Disappointed
Bought this hoping to transition both dogs to the same food as the younger one is becoming a senior. The older dog had no problem with it, I had been giving them just one handful of this food with their old food with no problems, but when I increased the amount, the younger one reacted badly, including refusing to eat and dark diarrhea. It is possible it was something else he had gotten into. but I'm not taking any chances.
Dry Food - Small Bites
My dogs did not like it at all. I thought they would eat some later in the day if they got hungry but will touch the food. I like that it was small bites for that is what my dogs prefer. I am not sure if it is the food or my dogs are still mourning their lost of their cat. They have been very pick eaters and I am really struggling finding food that they will eat. I like that this bag was available in 1 lbs size so I could give it a try. But this bag will be getting donated.
Seriously Finicky Dog
My dog is very finicky about his food. He won't eat certain foods, regardless of how the majority of dogs should love them. I've struggled to find food he'll eat without having to go the eat this or get nothing time, which he then only nibbled. Upon opening the bag and placing some in his bowl, he charged. Even with a bowl designed to slow down scarfing, he gave it his best shot. He loves this. I'm sure part is the first ingredient is beef and it's for senior pets as well. I'm very happy with this purchase and will buy it again.
Good Food for Senior Dogs
I recently adopted my third rescue dog, a 10 year old pitbull. I wanted a food which is made with seniors in mind and when I came across this I ordered it and boy was I glad. Stanford loves it and seems to bounce around like a puppy. Definitely my go to food.

Hi it Kaiser, I am a 7+ year old GSD. My owner decided I needed to switch to a senior food and while I know I am a puppy, I have to say, I really love this food.
Great Quality
My 3 Goldens have been on this for 4 months now. They love it! We are using the the regular 24/14 the two older dogs have dropped a few pounds and are more active. The baby has continued her normal busy day. All 3 have food allergies, Country Vet are all limited ingredient and my pups are happy with it. Their skin and coat have also improved. I love love this dog food ❤️
Did not work out
I just started buying senior dog dry food, after all my beabull Bella is 10.5yrs, but she simply refuses to it.
Smart Switch
All 16 of our dogs are doing much, much better on Country Vet Natural than they ever did all the years we fed them Purina One! They are more alert and active and have no gastric issues.

Gave my Dog Diarrhea
After reading some of the reviews about how this dog gave some other peoples dogs the runs or the farts, I still figured the ratings were high enough to give it a try. We tried it for about three days and it gave my dog extreme diarrhea. We had to throw the entire bag away and go back to her old dog food. I gave the product two stars because I did like the ingredients, it just wasn’t for our dog. My recommendation is that if you have a dog with a sensitive stomach, like mine, do not buy this dog food because you might regret it.
