This is overall the most affordable grain-free cat food I've seen, and to top it off, look at that ingredients list! All 6 of my cats love this food, and only one of them has a grain allergy. One of these bags will last me about 3 weeks with 6 cats.
When I opened the bag, I got a strong odor of protein powder. My cats would absolutely not eat this! I tried mixing it in with another food and my cats would literally eat the other food pieces out and leave this one in the bowl. I don't know how they made this but it smells very unappetizing to me. Obviously my cats feel the same way. Lol!
I purchased a 1-lb sample bag because I have 8 cats and some of the reviews stated their cats did not like it or it was too hard on their teeth. Some of my cats are elderly so that might be an issue. Results: 7 of 8 loved it. One had a take it or leave it attitude, which is the same attitude she has for any dry food. Basically all of them will eat it and none of them had any trouble chewing it. I actually prefer a more crunchy food because it helps keep their teeth clean. I will be purchasing the large bag and mix it in with their current food to transition. I also like that it is grain free, has probiotics already in it (yay!) and natural supplements for coat and joints. I am moving my dogs over to this brand also.
out of 7 cats not one of them would eat it. All these cats are rescues and used to eating just about anything.
I wanted to see how my kids would take to this food. At times they are picky and have even turned up their noses at freeze dried tiny fish. I put down a few of these under each cats nose and they gobbled it down quickly and looked for more. They liked it so much I used it for treats in place of a few more expensive treats they normally got. Not a whisker twitch in objection from either kitty. Good product and nicely priced as a food or treat.
I can't say for myself why lol but my cats didn't care for it
They love this somewhat affordable grain-free food.
I have 3 cats and 5 ferrets they always eat grain free cat food of other brands I wanted to try something different. NOBODY touched the food and they were hungry, I tested the food to see what was the problem and it was hard as a rock to chew it, the food can break the cats or ferrets tooth. Don't buy it.
Bought this food hoping that my guy with a sensitive digestive system would eat it as his regular food was not available. Needless to say, he would not touch it. He went so far as to tip the bowl over and push it as far away as possible! Guess I will have to try something else. I am sure it is a good food......just not what he wanted.
I have 5 cats and only 2 ate this , so I can't really recommend it.
