Just get the grass and pee pads

I'll preface this by saying that the grass part of this contraption has saved my carpet. However, most of this product was a waste of money. I ended up using the Grass Pad and putting it on top of two pee pads for my small dog. The Grass Pad does not stay on top of the plastic. As soon as my dog walked on it it slipped and she was afraid of it. I had to convince her it was safe to walk on the grass once I put it on top of two pee pads. My dog only goes on this when she really needs to usually when I'm out for more than 5 hours. I wash it every couple of days in the tub and then hang it outside to dry. Obviously I change the pee pads underneath it as soon as they are wet. I am just going to buy grass replacement pads and more pee pads.

Good Lord this thing stinks!! I used cat Crystal litter in the tray. GREAT idea, but the grass pad holds a LOT of pee and I live in an apartment (whole point of the device for me) and I can’t wash it with a hose. It smells god awful, the regular pee pads never smelled this bad. The grass is too thick and doesn’t drain well. This product would be great if you have a hose and can hose it down once a day. And yes, once a day, that’s how fast it smelled. And the litter crystals are supposed to trap odors. Idk if those are what makes the smell so bad, the grass not draining well, or both.

Not as happy

I had the other mat for on my balcony. I liked it much better. This one seems to hold the smell more.

Great idea but my dog has other plans

This would be great if my dog actually used it instead of just sitting on it and staring at me or rolling around on it. Any tricks to train a dog to use it?

Pup loves it?

We live in an apartment so this was a great add to our balcony to make nighttime potty breaks easier. She’s still potty training so sometimes she goes on it sometimes she doesn’t. I wish there was a way the faux grass was secured to the plastic base because sometimes she just wants to chew the grass and takes it off.

Puppy just wanted to chew plastic grass. I put it in storage. Will donate one day

Dont waste money

This has to be the worst product I ever purchased. I wasnt even going to open the box after reading other reviews, but I did. And the reviews are right on. It's garbage.

Artificial grass...

Trying to get the dogs to use the artificial grass. Hope it works soon.

Waste of money

I bought this in December and my dog refuses to use it. We've tried everything. We keep it on the patio. She'll literally go next to it but not in it. I wish I could return it.

great tool, not easy to clean

If your dog has wet poops it's really hard to get it off, and if you let them dry, you find yourself ripping out the fake grass. Mines lasted about a year, only way I can really clean it is with a power washer, which is not convenient as I bought it for the deck of our apartment as we are on the second floor. Works as intended and I don't have to run my dog outside, but is not very cleanable and I'm about to order my 2nd because without taking it to a car wash, this one isn't going to be clean enough for use anymore. Works good for small dogs, mines 15-20lbs, would not recommend anything bigger than 30 or it will be too small. You'll also wanna buy latex gloves, as the pee collector fills up faster than you think and it gets sloshy trying to dump it out. I would not use this indoors unless you want to deep clean it every day or you will have bathroom smells from it. Out on the deck to keep your pup out of the snow works great
