IDK what other people were complaining about in these comments. It took a while to put together because I wanted to make sure everything was done right and had my 13 year old daughter helping me. But there was no need to drill pilot holes - they were already done. I say that because on some parts I did mess up and realized I used the wrong side on two parts, but even then, I was taking my time drilling slow and nothing cracked. After putting mine together, that just tells me these people put theirs together backwards, using opposite sides, etc. I did a lot of the work on my large dining room table, piecing and drilling things together. Then once it was time to put all the walls together is when I stood things up, working on the base after that and finally the roof. It was on sale for a great price. If I could change anything, it would be for it to have sturdier wheels, kind of like the ones for roller blades. Other than that, this is a really nice setup for my girl.

I bought this for my cat. Put it together which wasn't hard, just annoying. Put it outside first few days great. Then we had rain for three days and the joints all swelled. The floor board split and the will now not sit right. The slider doors are jammed because of the swelling. Overall I am very disappointed that some cold rainy days made it not useable now that the sun is out

Fits in my catio nicely and allows anyone that needs to be separated from the collective to have a nice spacious place to go. Took me from 10 to about 2 to fully construct, install, and clean up, working by myself. Would be easier to have another person to help put it together but possible for one to do it. Vice grip clamps helped.

The size was perfect for what we needed but the materials are not quality. The wood was splitting as we were putting it together and no we didn't drill in too far. I got it in March, put it up the beginning of April and its been outside for about a month and already it's breaking even more (see pictures). If I spent $25 on it (what it's worth) I wouldn't mind, but something of this price should last. It says it's for outdoor use but clearly it isn't. HUGE waste of money! I'm surprised Chewy even has it on their website.

Good color and size. Not good netting.

The wire net is concave and bends. This makes it look cheap and esthetically poor quality. Everything else like the sturdy wood, wheels and color is good. It cost

The instructions are a little unclear and you may need to pre-drill some holes given this is made of cedar and will split easily if you don't. However, once it's assembled, it's a great smaller catio that will let your cat enjoy the out doors safely. We set ours up like a small AirBNB for our cat with a daybed, some food and water and a potted catnip plant. She practically begs to go in there now!

Good for the price

Its a good cage, the water will make it swell so make sure it is covered, along with the swelling it cracks in the wrong places so I had to glue some of the pieces

While this thing was a little bigger than expected, we didn't think to measure our doors. We had to remove (then later add them back on) 2 doors to get this out into our balcony. Our fault for not measuring the doors before hand. Only gave it 3 stars as the wood is not smooth. Lots of ways for you and your pet to get splinters. Putting this thing toger left my fingers soar as i had to pick up pieces carefully to not end up with splinters. For now we added old towels on the shelves n floor to protect our fur babies paws. Also we ended up taking off the cubby hole to give our two cats more space on the top shelf and to avoid them getting splinters since it was tiny! They went in and had to back out, couldnt even turn in it and our cats are not big, about 10lbs each but small. Overall it does what it says, just not safe until you make some modifications like sanding or adding towels or carpet etc. Oh and make sure you have a drill and drill bit to make holes for when you have to attach the too and bottom, the nail wasnt going through until I pre-deilled a hole before hand. Instructions don't say that. And this is cheap wood that can split easily. After adding a nail on one part the wood began to split just a tad, thankfully i got the nail in before it was too late. I would not buy this one again, lots of others on the market.
