Now that it’s finished I love it, but the building process took forever m. I took lots of breaks but active time was probably around 6 hours and I had help for the second half. Most of the pieces I had to drill my own holes into so the wood didn’t split. Overall it seems like good quality and sturdy for my 3 cats. I like that it’s got more horizontal space because my cats like to roll around on the concrete. Most of the other catios I saw were more vertical space so consider that in your shopping based on your cat’s wants. It’s a great size and the cats love it! I’d say one of the most difficult parts of the build was putting the door in, I felt the instructions weren’t as clear as they could have been and I had to remove it and reinstall a couple times because I was hard to get the angles right as I had to drill holes myself. Overall would recommend but only if you’re willing to put in the work and have the tools to do so. A screwdriver only will NOT work.

Cats Retreat
The size is just right for the apartment's balcony. There is sufficient space for two cats, medium litter box, food and water dishes. The three perches are nice
The size is just right for the apartment's balcony. There is sufficient space for two cats, medium litter box, food and water dishes. The three perches are nice. Cushions can be added. The cats could see outside the catio and observe the cars and people. They really like the catio. It is a great alternative for my cats to get a breath of fresh air and change of scenery. The only two things I would recommend would be to add a brace near the top to strengthen the right joining the left sides when assembling the structure. The latch for the lock also doesn't lock very securely. The biggest problem was that it was very time consuming to staple all of the screens.
