Coziwow Outdoor Walk-in Catio Cat Exercise Pen, Grey

Was easy to put together and we have it so all we have to do is open a window to let them out. Its been very instrumental in training and etc! I have foster cats (that were outdoors) and this is a great way for them and my cats to get outside and enjoy. I also noticed they get to know each other better on a less ‘hissy’ level. I also use to put a single cat out who is having a little trouble and needs some ‘me’ time from the group. I also use it for helping a pair of cats get along. They can see each other through the glass and eat ‘together’ (see Tali and Feather pic). Now that the weather is warm (I'm near Houston where we are getting too hot to just leave the window open), I open and shut to let them in and out in intervals. I sit in the living room to monitor. I do advise to train everyone (a few cats at a time), it will make creaking noises that might scare them into 'springing out' of the catio. Maybe train a little with banging and clanging nearby. There have been a few moments where a neighbor's noise would frighten them and they would ‘pin ball’ around. You'll need to be there to observe and be ready to reinforce any negative experiences, so they won't be traumatized by anything. All of mine did eventually learn and are doing ok now. Would highly encourage that you observe them at all times though. I sit and drink a beverage at the end of the day.
