so on top of tons of synthetic "nutrients", is it full GMOs as well? definitely worthy of the 45% price increase in a 4 month period smh

Like most other pet food and human food companies, some vitamins and minerals are supplied by their trusted partners in China. Rest assured the manufacturer is confident in the ingredient integrity of all of their suppliers because they demonstrate the ability to consistently meet the strict and thorough standards of their own Supplier Quality Assurance program, regardless of where they are located. The suppliers undergo frequent quality audits to ensure expectations are met.
I feed Crave Salmon dry in the morning and add wet food in the evening meal. My dogs are 40 and 80 (suppose to be) pounds. I divide a can between the both dogs. My question is what would be the desired amount of dry food mixed with the wet? Thanks.

To determine the amount of dry food to combine with your wet food, we suggest taking the recommended daily caloric intake of your pet(s) and subtracting the amount of calories given in wet food. After that you can feed the remaining calories needed in dry food.

Saved my dog's skin

Sweet potatoes give my dog itchy hives but most dog food contains them. Finding an alternative was proving tough. I tried several sensitive skin/stomach formulas, including Purina's which left her gassy and shedding with dry skin. Crave whitefish and salmon (I haven't tried the other ones) has been perfect. She no longer needs fish oil supplements and her symptoms have stopped. Highly recommend this formula for dogs with skin issues.

My boy didn't like it

I ordered this in hope to help my boy put on weight. He didn't touch it and neither did any of my other animals. I didn't want to waste such an expensive food so I thought the feral cats would we eat it. They wouldn't touch it either. Yes I'm aware it is dog food but dogs nor cats touched it. Seems concerning to me.

Good healthy high protein, low fat dry food

I've been feeding this food to my dog (Aussie) for years. Have given her both chicken and fish flavor, she likes both. I recommend this food for a happy, healthy pup!!

The foods main ingredient is fish. Both of my dog and cat loved it! When the dog goes outside I see the cat sneaking bites.

This is very good dog food my dog is picky about food but since he's been on it he loves it the salmon one can't be beat and it smells like real fish very good dog food

Changed the product??

Not sure what happened, but my GSD used to love this formula. However , the past couple of times ordering, I noticed the bag looks a bit different—the shape, size, and texture of the kibble is also different. Unfortunately this hasn’t gone unnoticed by my dog. She doesn’t seem to care for it anymore and her coat isn’t as shiny as it was before this change. Crave, not sure if you’re changing your formulas, but being informed of changes would be nice! On the search for a different brand.

Finally found the answer!

This food is a savior! I have two dogs, a lab and a pit/heeler. The pit/heeler was having THE WORST gas on every other food we tried. Even other grain free foods, which were not easy to find locally. Within in 3 days of feeding this food, it was night and day difference! They both get so excited at feeding time now too and don't leave food like they were with others. I'm on autoship now! Just wish there were an option for a larger bag!!!

Change in formula? :(

My dog used to looove Crave's kibble. We thought we had finally found a kibble that satisfied our picky eater. But it seems Crave has changed the formula or something. Our most recent bag looked different than previous bags in terms of kibble shape and size. Didn't think too much of it until our dog wouldn't go near it anymore. Sadly, we're now on the hunt for a new kibble. Crave, if you did change the formula, bring the old one back! If you didn't change it, then not sure what's going on. I understand every dog and dog owner's kibble experience is different. My review is based on the fact that my pup loved this stuff and now won't touch it.
