How long should a 2.5 lb bag last an average 1000 lb horse?

This supplement 2.5-pound bag will last approximately a month and the 5-pound bag would last approximately 2 months feeding 2 scoops a day. Feeding at 1 scoop a day the 2.5 pound bag will last approximately 2 months and the 5 pound bag would last approximately 4 months.

I suspected my horse was having some metabolic issues, I had tried reducing her weight by reducing calories and increasing exercise, but wasn't seeing significant results. I started using this supplement about two weeks ago. She eats it easily. I mix it in with Cyrpto Aero Wild Forage. I believe she has lost weight. I notice less fat and more definition. I was hesitant to order due to the price, but I'm now happy I did.

Although my Arab gelding loves Crypto Aero grain, he stops short every time I try to put even a 1/2 tsp of this supplement in his feed. Very adamantly hates it.
