Delomo Dog, Cat Horse & Small Pet Grooming Glove, Black

I bought these grooming gloves for my long hair cat who hates being brushed so I thought maybe she'll be ok with these gloves. I love these grooming gloves and my long hair cat is ok with them. Cats get over stimulated pretty fast so I only have a few minutes to groom her but that's all that is needed. She's now free from snarls and hair knots, soft and fluffy. These gloves work really well.

I was excited to get these gloves, as my cat LOVES to get his coat brushed! We do have an older mitten that we have been using, so here are my pros and cons: PROS: There is a pair, so you could use both hands to brush the animal at the same time, covering more areas. This would be great on a bigger dog. The nubbins on this are deeper - about 1/2 cm in depth - great for longer haired animals. Because this is a glove, you can get around the legs, head and chin of the animal easier, especially if they are a small animal. CONS: I don't recall being asked for a size, and the packaging doesn't have a size on it, so I am guessing it comes in 1 size. If you are a man with large hands, this won't work for you. My hand is about 7" long and it fits perfect. Because my cat is a DSH (short hair) i found that I don't pull as much hair off his coat with these as I do with his old one. Because my cat is small (10lbs), I don't really need 2 gloves, but I would if I had a long haired cat or a dog.

Bertha is the only longhair in the family, so tends to need more grooming. She has never liked being combed or brushed, but loves being stroked and petted, so I ordered the grooming gloves on a whim. She absolutely loves them, I could probably put them on and pet her all day. Since I received the gloves only a few days ago I have probably gotten more hair off of her than in the past four years. The other cats like them, too, but they are all shorthairs and like being brushed.
