Twice as much as the regular ones!

I’m not sure how these got added to my order, since I already had two pkgs. of the regular ones on my list. But I’ll check to make sure they don’t come again because

Contains toxic preservatives known to cause cancer

My 7 year old Australian Shepherd, Goose, recently died with stomach cancer. While being diagnosed at UT Vet hospital in Knoxville, the vet asked if she had been

My 7 year old Australian Shepherd, Goose, recently died with stomach cancer. While being diagnosed at UT Vet hospital in Knoxville, the vet asked if she had been exposed to ESTROGEN...over an extended period of time...to toxic levels. I was flabbergasted. While researching the treats and foods she ate on a daily basis we discovered that these Dental hygiene sticks contain a preservative know to cause cancer, especially stomach cancer in rodents. The preservatives BHT and BHA are synthetic and mimic ESTROGEN!! They are used to extend the shelf life. According to the package my dog should have been receiving 2 sticks daily. While she only received 1 per day for her dental hygiene her levels of estrogen were apparently high enough to alarm this vet to alarm me. Goose was so sick that she threw up her stomach lining!!! She may have saved her brother's life as we are now aware of the toxins Purina (and others) are putting in their dog foods and treats. Please be an advocate for your pet and limit/end their exposure to these toxins.
