Not packaged well

I had this delivered around noon and when I got home about 6 hours later the box was covered in ants. The chews are just sitting inside the packaging not wrapped

I had this delivered around noon and when I got home about 6 hours later the box was covered in ants. The chews are just sitting inside the packaging not wrapped in anything airtight. Not knowing this I sprayed ant killer in the chewy box. When I opened the purina chews box there were dead ants inside at the bottom. Needless to say I threw there they chews away since I wasn’t taking any chances that the chemical got onto the chews. Poor packaging by purina and chewy if they knew about this issue.

My dog choked. Almost had to do the Heinrich on him.

It got stuck while he was eating it. Like it was too sticky and he couldn’t swallow. He stopped breathing for a bit and it was really scary. I had to pick him up

It got stuck while he was eating it. Like it was too sticky and he couldn’t swallow. He stopped breathing for a bit and it was really scary. I had to pick him up by his hindquarters and luckily gravity helped him get it out. I will not continue to give these to him as it really freaked me out.

I thought that the brand would be more responsible than this because they also make the dog food that my vet recommended.. but I seriously can’t understand why they

I thought that the brand would be more responsible than this because they also make the dog food that my vet recommended.. but I seriously can’t understand why they think that your dog needs it to look appealing in order to eat it. I just wash off the““beefy”looking texture to get the yellow number five off and then my dog enjoys the chew.

These dental chews did not seem like much when I opened the package. I thought, “Wow, that’s not very many chews for the price!” Then I gave my dog one to try. He loves them! The best part is that, unlike other chews, one of these chews last my boy for DAYS! So, the package size turned out to be just right after all.

We cut them in half for our small dogs and they are fairly tough to divide. Perhaps the same product in smaller pieces would be a nice option if it did not add too much to the price.
