I bought this 20-count package to share in Christmas stockings for dogs who have little to nothing to open for Christmas in my vegan food pantry. Gave one to my service dog since he knows how to make those deprived sad looks to plead for snacks. He loved it! So I made up a stocking for him with a few dental sticks in it too. Now he's sad again because he can't open until Christmas.
I was afraid about the size for my Yorkie but I managed to divide in 3 pieces and it works well.
My dog really enjoyed this product, it freshened her breath. And it was soft enough that I knew wouldn't do any damage to her teeth. She's an older lab. I am happy with this product and will reorder.
These are less expensive and have healthier ingredients than other dental treats we have tried in the past.
These dental sticks are about 3 inches long and smell so good! Our maltese and mini golden doodle enjoy them.
My Bostons can't eat Greenies for some reason .. they make them throw up. So I was looking for a healthier alternative. These work great and are the perfect size for my Bostons. They are a little expensive, but I believe they are good quality. They usually get them before bedtime (sometime after last meal) to clean their mouths. I would recommend them.
These arrived today and was a new treat for my 3 Newfoundland’s. I wanted to try and find a similar product to Greenies, but hopefully less expensive. I opened the bag and the scent took me back to feeding my horses and Guinea pigs their hay. The dogs seemed to enjoy the scent and that’s what is important. Then I took one out of the bag and I was disappointed by their size as they are only like 3 inches long. I don’t remember if that was in the product write up or not, but it says it was suitable for small to large breeds. I let them try them and after the first bite I realized my mistake! They were a chocking hazard for my guys (think German Shepard size mouth) and it was too late. Thankfully no one choked, but I’ve decided to not give them the remainder and will give to my friend that has Pomeranians. My dogs liked them, but I’m the one that pays the bills and that’s why this is getting a generous 2 rating.
My 60 lb sheepadoodle eats these in 2 bites. No dental chewing involved. Too expensive for a “snack”.
