The rope is thick and comfortable in the hand, plus, unlike most rope leashes, this one has some shock-absorption within it, so if your dog pulls, you don’t have to worry about it yanking too harshly. The rope and craftsmanship is superb, the handle is comfortable, and it has a heavy clip. It’s very apparent to me that Doggie Tales did not cheap out on this product, and because of that, it’s well worth the price.

While this is a great length for training, there is not a second handle of any type and because of the material if your dog pulls at all, it will be rough on your hands. It is lightweight, so not too heavy on the harness, and the rubber handle it does have is comfortable.

Withstood my boy

Have a mini Aussie about 50 pounds has yet to break it. He has chewed and played tug of war with this rope and it has yet to break. It hasn't been chewed through

Have a mini Aussie about 50 pounds has yet to break it. He has chewed and played tug of war with this rope and it has yet to break. It hasn't been chewed through like some other rope leashes we've gotten. Although the plastic parts have broken off, we dragged this leash though snow, mud, lakes, beaches, just about any condition you can think of and we still use it. We've tied knots in it to get a better handle on it when training with his, but this leash is well worth the money.

I got the blue and it's VERY visible even without the reflective part. The handle is quite plush and there is a ring on it to hook a carribener so perfect!
