I was very disappointed with this product. I purchased it before I picked up my new 5 month Aussie. I fed it to her twice before I realized that she had thrown it up. I took the advice from my breeder and purchased the puppy food she had been feeding her, and introduced the Best Breed slowly into her diet. The more Best breed I added to the mix the longer it took for her to eat it, until about 3 days ago when she completely stopped eating it, even if it only had a little amount of the Best Breed. I ordered a different brand of quality dog food and she ate it up without a minute to waste. Unfortunately I have two 25lb bags of puppy food that I will not be using. I will try and get my money back. I'm sure it's a great product, just not for my puppy.
My dog loves this food. I can't wait to see the results.
Probably a good food but my pup gets very loose stools.
I am on Autoship and they were out of my regular dog food, I have a 120 lb silver lab 50 lb goldendoodle and 5 lb malitpoo. So I had purchased this for the 5 pounder. Since my regular order was not received, I ordered a larger bag of Dr Gary's Best Breed. My dogs love it. Now that their regular order is back on track, the big dogs will not gobble up their regular food. They have never done this before on any replacement foods I have purchased. I read all the reviews, so that is why I choose this product. Just wish it was alittle cheaper.
raised price and lowered bag contents bought this food for years but can't support the price gouging
My Husky is a picky eater and really likes this one
Seems to agree with Benny. I changed to this from Fromm as he doesn't seem to have stomach issues with this brand.
My dog really loves Dr. Gary’s dog food , I tried a new flavor and he really loves it
This brand was recommended. Seems to be good so far. My dogs like it. My only concern is the first bag I received, the food had a green tint to it and smelled alot like celery. (My dogs gobbled that bag up) Now the second bag, the food is brown and smells like plain dog food. (One dog won't eat it) It's concerning that each batch can be so different. I still like this brand though and I will continue. May try other best breed foods. My dogs really like Royal Canin but they are gaining alot of weight and ingredients aren't that good. Plus one of our bags of Royal Canin had completely different food (size, color, shape, smell) in it. Not good.
After making my own dogfood, I realized my pups needed kibble for better teeth cleaning. This has everything I had wanted to be in their diet. Wholesome and clean and no urinary issues or all the added salt from prescription foods. We have a diverse group and they're all doing great.
