Bad experience

I have used this dog food for over a year, but on my last shipment, I received a rancid bag of dog food. I contacted chewy and the immediately replaced it no questions

I have used this dog food for over a year, but on my last shipment, I received a rancid bag of dog food. I contacted chewy and the immediately replaced it no questions asked unfortunately the replacement bag also rancid. Two bags in a row was too much for me. I will no longer order this brand.

Was Great. Recipe Changed?

I fed Dr. Pol's Lamb and Rice a few times. Then about my 4th order the kibbles were so odorous the dogs wouldn't touch it. Chewy was outstanding. They tried and

I fed Dr. Pol's Lamb and Rice a few times. Then about my 4th order the kibbles were so odorous the dogs wouldn't touch it. Chewy was outstanding. They tried and sent me three times brand new bags different lot numbers. All with same problem, before a full refund. I love lamb myself and am aware that the fat can be quite odorous if not trimmed away before cooking. Perhaps Dr. Pol's lamb suppliers changed or changed their production methods. I wouldn't have returned if the dogs would eat it. They didn't seem to find it edible. So now I have only ordered Dr. Pol's Beef and Salmon kibbles.

I've been looking for a dog food that could help with my dogs allergies. When I found this one I thought "WOW. Dr. Pol brand." My dog is not a picky eater and he would not touch it. No wonder when it smells like crayons. I wouldn't want to eat flavored wax either. If you're going to put one of the most trusted and beloved veterinarian's name on the bag, make sure the quality matches the expectation.

I have tried several dog foods in hopes of finding both good nutrition AND good taste. I tried everything from Hills prescription diet dry food (which my dogs often rejected) to other brands of food which claimed to be nutritious. I could never find a food that was genuinely nutritious (with the ingredients backing up that claim) AND had a taste my dogs would love and WANT to eat.....until I found Dr. Pol's Salmon flavored dog food. I read the ingredients and it contains natural and healthy ingredients without all the preservatives and unhealthy fillers. My dogs love, love, love the salmon flavor! I found the whole package with this food....without having to pay the ridiculous high cost that other brands charge!

Too small of nuggets

The nuggets seem too small for our 45-50lb dogs. They liked it / ate it but with some minor choking so I won't buy again.
