Great for our seniorr dog
Our senior dog had a couple of bouts with pancreatitis. We did rx dog food for awhile but she was 100# and it was super expensive. For the last several years we have fed her this food and never once had a reoccurance!
Did this brand change?
I usually buy the 50lb bag for my yorkie. Which, thankfully lasts for several months! She has been doing really well on this brand for 4 years. She needs a low fat food for her pancreas. I just opened the new bag, and it looks and smells very different than the previous bags. My dog doesn't want to touch it. I finally got her to eat some, but now she's throwing up and not feeling well. I hope that settles down over time. I am writing this because I know I am not the only dog owner out there who is probably going through this with their furbaby, too. Having a change in anything with the product, the company should have had some sort of notice that they are making the changes!

Great low fat food!
I tried a few other low fat brands after my dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and those gave her GI issues. So far my dogs stool has been wonderful since switching to Eagle Pack, we are hoping this stays the case and we are blown away by the results. Thankful for dog foods like this one! 5 stars!

Low Fat Food that Pup Likes to Eat. My pup was eating 15% fat in her dry kibble. This product is 9% fat. Much better for her health.
dog food, color, and size changed since last order
I just opened up the new bag of dog food that I got and I was in a panic because it doesn’t look like the same dog food. I put my dog on the eagle pack reduce fat adult dry dog food due to my dog having history of pancreatitis, and it’s worked pretty well. The new dog food and I did check it’s the same dog food and nutritional value. But it’s larger and thicker and darker than the other food, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Not sure why the change will see what happens when I feed it to him today in the world of cutting back and cutting down on nutrition in a lot of human and Pet foods would be nice if they built this up better than before! The dog food on the right is from the new bag. If I had to do a blind picking on which dog food I think would be better I picked the one on the right! Only downside is I use the dog food as training treats because he’s on a strict diet so now they’re larger have to cut back on them. Lol!

best food for gastrointestinal issues
I have a 3 year old pitty with a lot of gastritis issues, including acid reflux/frequent spitting up. I had tried every expensive diet and there were always still issues. Since switching to this brand, his stool is finally normal and no more frequent gas. Only downside is it is hard to find in stores and the bag doesnt last as long as i’d like it to since it’s only sold in a 30lb option.
Made My Dog Smell
Recently my dogs have smelled horrible. My entire downstairs just reeks, to the point where I’m embarrassed to let anyone in the house. My dogs are groomed and bathed regularly so this made no sense… until I finally made the connection that the smell started shortly after switching to this food. They eat it just fine but I can’t tolerate how bad it’s made them smell.
Our girl loves this food
We've been feeding this dog food to our 12-year old labrador since learning about Eagle Pack from The Insiders. Her weight has steadily dropped and her energy has increased. We've been feeding her twice a day now vs. once and she really likes the taste. We told our vet about Eagle Pack and she explored the ingredients and gave us a thumbs up as well. We'll also cut over our pup to the reduced fat in a few months once he reaches the right age. I am sure he can't wait because he is always trying to steal her Eagle Pack food. We'll continue purchasing this through Chewy as we've found a winner.
