Honestly, I was really reluctant to try feeding my fur baby this pet food, but she actually really seems to enjoy eating it. I feed my chickens crickets and black soldier fly larvae and they love them, but I would have never thought to see either as an ingredients in dog food. Mouth dropped! This pet food has a long list of healthy ingredients. Such as: crickets, black soldier fly larva, lentil protein, sweet potato, carrots, oats, pumpkin, flax seed, taurune, risemary and oregano extract, kelp, apples, etc., and it has 29% protein, 5% fiber, and o.8% Omega 3 fatty acids. Princess began eating the food as soon as I gave her a serving of it inside her dish. She did not stop eating it until she ate every bite in her bowl. So, I am giving Earth Animal Wisdom Air-Dried food 5 stars.

I have the world's pickiest dog. She's a 9-year-old boxer/pitbull rescue girl who has always needed to be enticed to try new foods. Meret may be the only dog I've ever known who doesn't respond to liver treats...seriously? Her favorite treat is salmon skin. She does enjoy a food topper so I was sure she'd like this product. I was wrong. There was nothing I could do to get her to try even a tiny bit. For her it was a fail. I gave the bag to my son for his 110 lb Lab service dog, Gunner He eats everything (and anything) but he has a sensitve stomach so my son has to be extremely careful about what his dog consumes. He trialed the product for three days and monitored signes of tummy trouble - Gunner LOVED it, had no tummy issues, and his poop stayed nice and healthy. For him it was a win. So, unless you have a picky dog, like me, I'm guessing you and your dog will like this stuff. Also, it has a nice texture and no smell that might make picky owners not want to use it.

I wasn’t sure how my girl would react to this as she’s a carnivore at heart and a picky eater. When I offered her a nugget, she sniffed it a little suspiciously

I wasn’t sure how my girl would react to this as she’s a carnivore at heart and a picky eater. When I offered her a nugget, she sniffed it a little suspiciously at first but then happily ate it up and asked for more. It looks and smells just like any other semi soft, nugget pet food and I’m glad to know it is made of protein that is not only nutrient rich and dense, but is socially responsible and sustainable. I even gave some nuggets as a treat when I didn’t have anything soft for my friend’s frenchie, who is allergic to feathered protein and he was fine. Depending on your dog’s needs, this could be a good alternative for traditional proteins.

I bought this product because I wanted to explore more options for feeding my dogs. People in other parts of the world eat insects, so it should be a natural nutrition source for pets too. They were a little hesitant to try it at first. By the third feeding, they were eating it fine, but they don’t gobble it down like with their regular food. I will keep it in rotation because I think it is healthy for them and good for the planet too.

Who Knew Crickets Could Taste So Good

I was a little skeptical about this product, mainly because I don't know that I would ever eat insects myself, so why would I feed it to my dogs. Well, so much

I was a little skeptical about this product, mainly because I don't know that I would ever eat insects myself, so why would I feed it to my dogs. Well, so much for worrying about that. The weird part was my Chihuahua decided to take one piece of the food and run off with it and then decided to put it on the floor and start rubbing on it. Must be that 'earthly' smell. Once she got over that, she ran back and ate the entire bowl. My other dog wasn't quite as strange with it, she just started eating it without hesitation. So, they like it for sure. Is it good for them? The ingredient list is good from what I can see. I am going to try some of their other formulas, as they have quite a few.

We have 3 dogs and received this pkg. from Chewy. I had no idea anyone even made a product like this for dogs but I can say that our 3 absolutely love it. I am actually using it as a topper to go along with the little bit of kibble I use and the homemade food I make for them. Even our one senior girl, who seems to not have as good of an appetite as she once had, really chows this stuff right down. Definitely recommend for an extra flavorful treat for your pups that’s packed with nutrients.

I received a bag free to try out from Chewy and our dogs loved it so much that I purchased the next bag. It is really expensive so I don’t use it as straight up food for them, but just as a topper. My 40# dog gets about 1/4 cup on his food in the evening, and my two small chihuahuas get just 3 of 4 pieces.
