good food but it's gotten way too expensive

my cat has loved the monterey medley flavor of earthborn since she was 6 mos old, but lately the price has gotten insane - when i started ordering it in 2022 it cost 36.99 for a case of 5.5oz cans. my most recent order (auto shipped, so i didn't realize how wild the price would be beforehand) cost 71.03. it's essentially doubled in price in less than two years and i can't afford it anymore so i'll be switching to something else.

A favorite

This has been a favorite for yrs w/ so many kitty friends. W/ others they pick out peas, otherwise this brand has been a good choice for all. I do have to mush for my old lady...she prefers pate...but am always happy to do

actually high in carbohydrates

purchased a different flavor but thought i’d leave a review under this one because it’s popular so more people could see. this line is actually high in carbs, i asked what the percentage was and got an email saying it was 3% as fed basis and 28% dry matter basis! way to hide the high percentage. has a stinky smell too, i knew something fishy was going on. was looking for a still healthy but affordable wet food to switch to from tiki cat and it took 3 weeks to get my bb to get used to this :( currently gonna try to switch to weruva now

Quality food, but not for my picky kitties

You can definitely see the natural food ingredients in the can. It looks like a fresh catch from the sea with a good amount of gel or broth. One of my cats completely snubbed it, and the other two licked the liquidy parts, but leftover most of the fish meat. I am giving it three stars because I had to throw a large amount of it away.

Good stuff

My cat loves this stuff. I mix a little green powder into it.. like spirulina and wheat grass and also a little kibble and water.. nice to stretch it out

Goopy mess

None of my cats know what to do with the consistency of this. Goopy and even the feral aren't fond of it.

Tasty, healthy

My cats love this. It is full of protein, it's healthy, it has the right ingredients, and you can actually see the pieces of tuna and mackerel. My cats hate pate, they won't touch it, and I can't blame them - who wants an unknown mix of who knows what when you can have a delicious dinner of real fish?

DID NOT EAT IT

I have no idea why, my cat normally loves this but this specific time he did not like it. I normally get him the 3oz ones. I have to say I started this last spring and the gravy is getting thicker every time and to my cat's defense, there were some fish bones in this one and my cat has some dental issues. The quality has certainly changed. I had to take the whole pack to my local pet store and change the for other brands.

My cats favorite

My cat loves this flavor of wet food, and buying a case from Chewy was cheaper than what my local pet store offered. It shipped quickly and arrived damage free.

Lizie really loves it

I started feeding her this wet food with dry food since she was a kitten. She is very picky with wet food, especially after feeding her this one. Even now, she is over 2 years old and don't really need to feed her the wet food. But still craving for it every night, so have to feed her a little to make her happy.
