Answer by ChewyJan 28, 2020
This food is made in the USA. All ingredients in Earthborn Holistic dry pet food are grown or produced in the US except for lamb meal which comes from Australia or New Zealand and flaxseed which comes from Canada. Their facilities are inspected multiple times per year by USDA APHIS. The facility where Earthborn Holistic® is manufactured is approved for sales to the European Union, Russia, Israel, Australia, and many more all of which have strict regulations. They are HACCP approved and FDA inspected.

Does anyone know how much a cup of this food should weigh Based on the nutrition info since that’s a more accurate measurement then using a scoop.

Answer by ChewyJan 14, 2020
A standard 8 ounce measuring cup holds approximately 4.8 ounces of this formula.

In general, this brand of food is great and has been recommended to us by our vet. While it had worked great for one of our dogs, it made our other dog extremely gassy. Once we switched to a different brand, his issues disappeared, so I am taking away one star, as it may not be the best for dogs with some digesting issues.

Alright I can't say for 100% certainty it tastes great since I haven't personally consumed it but judging by the fact I had to move my dogs to slow feeder bowls

Alright I can't say for 100% certainty it tastes great since I haven't personally consumed it but judging by the fact I had to move my dogs to slow feeder bowls because they were eating it so quickly, I think we can safely assumed paws up.

How much Teddy likes it.

Teddy absolutely loves this. I set aside a potion of his daily food and feed it to him as treats throughout the day.

My only problem this brand is every time I order it. It comes crushed. My dog doesn’t seem to mind however

Love the brand but quality varies.

I love this brand. Made in the USA and family owned. I stick with it for this reason honestly and they make good quality food for my allergy prone dog. I’ve changed dog foods so many times before finding this brand with the limited ingredient and not grain free, that was important to me! What I’m upset about is that kibble seems to be fragile to where once it gets delivered to me and I get to the middle/end of the bag it resembles sand. I’ve had almost a quarter of the bag been completely crushed at times. I would love to source it myself to cut out the middle man thinking that was the problem but they’re not in store for me to do that.

Experimenting with Earthborn Holistic Foods

Dooge came to us with a small bag of the Alaskan Pollock version. And, while he ate it, sometimes it took a bit of coaxing with other things. He displayed much interest in the Roasted Lamb and the Turkey, we decided to give the other flavours a try. So far so good but he is a bit of a picky eater.
