This therapeutic hoof boot is designed to give support and relief to horses dealing with serious limb and hoof issues, including hoof stress due to regular wear and tear. It is not intended to be used for endurance rides and is ideal for horses suffering from thin soles, abscesses, founder, laminitic stages, chronic lameness and general lower limb or hoof problems.

Instant Relief

My horse got a bruise and has had on and off lameness for a little bit due to a quadruple abscess over the summer. My vet recommended these to keep her comfortable

My horse got a bruise and has had on and off lameness for a little bit due to a quadruple abscess over the summer. My vet recommended these to keep her comfortable while we strengthened her sole and wait for the abscess holes to grow out. My horse loved them. I had to size up one boot size (she was in between sizes), but once she got the right size she instantly licked and chewed and showed improvement in her soundness over the next week! Highly recommend these boots! They showed up quickly and in great quality!

The construction is sturdy, the materials are great, and the ease of putting them on a sore horse is wonderful. The problem I have with them is they are HUGE! I carefully measured heel to toe and wall to wall. She needs at least one size down from what I bought and possibly two sizes down. She has worn them in her stall and in her paddock. One pulled off in the mud. If they were the correct size, I think I would absolutely love these boots. I'm going to contact the manufacturer to see if they can do anything for me. Maybe they have a suggestion that I can use to bulk her foot up to make them fit better.

My Grand Prix Dressage Lusitano stallion suffered a mechanical founder due to over-aggressive trimming. Once his condition was deemed stable, controlled exercise was part of his rehab. The soil in his turnout is abrasive and sandy, which would tend to wear off his foot as fast as it could grow. THese boots protected him from abrasion while allowing him to move around in comfort. Good fit, no rubs, wear well. Two thumbs up

Other brands of hoof boots for laminitis support have frog impressions built into the pad itself. So, very hard to fit comfortably. These have a firm pad base, which is flat. The not itself fits over the front of the hoof and doesn't impact the rest of the leg.

Best overall boots

These boots are a must have for your horse. They close well at the top and keep out rocks, etc. so are perfect for turnout. must have for abscess, sore feet, situations

These boots are a must have for your horse. They close well at the top and keep out rocks, etc. so are perfect for turnout. must have for abscess, sore feet, situations where you need to separate the horse from a muddy environment, laminitis, etc. Just keep a pairat all times in the size that fits your horse well because when you need them, you usually need them immediately. If they fit well, theywill last a very long time.

Chewy did their job well, but I take issue with the product design

The cloud boot is constructed well. If your horse has any type of HEEL, the boot with the pad will not fit as designed. Either the pad needs to be thinner (which

The cloud boot is constructed well. If your horse has any type of HEEL, the boot with the pad will not fit as designed. Either the pad needs to be thinner (which defeats the purpose...) or the boot needs to be taller to allow for a horse with a heel, so that the neck of the boot can be secured around the pastern as designed. My horse has heels, the back of the boot is NOT HIGH ENOUGH to securely snug around the pastern. This creates a gap, allows the boot to TWIST and is ILL FITTING as a result. A little more length (fabric, maybe neoprene) on the back side of the boot (where is snugs up around the back side of the pastern) would allow this boot to function appropriately.

This boot did not fit my draft. The inside of the boot was too small and was causing pressure points. I returned it and still have not received my refund!!!
