Lacey's breeder highly recommended Hard Yak Chews. I'd never heard of them so I did some research. Himalayan Yaks are 100% protein, consist of Yak milk (skim milk), cow milk, lime juice and water. They do not look interesting. Lacey had been chewing Yaks as soon as she had baby teeth. When I opened the package she jumped with excitement. Lacey carries the yak around everywhere. These 6" very hard yaks are chewed down to a nub within two weeks time. When they become a nub, I soak them in hot water for ten minutes. Then place on a microwave safe dish and microwave them for a few minutes. The nubs turn into Yak Puffs which are eatable. No waste to this product. I buy the value pack every six weeks and it is money well spent. The other value to the yaks is they keep your pet's teeth clean, no tartar/plaque buildup and their breath is fresh. I highly recommend Yak Chews.

Guess I should have read the reviews. We buy these regularly locally and my dog loves them. I thought that’s a great price to get multiple sticks. You only get one

Guess I should have read the reviews. We buy these regularly locally and my dog loves them. I thought that’s a great price to get multiple sticks. You only get one. Very pricey for 1. I will not buy it from here again. Also it is much thinner than pictured. So he is going through it quicker.
