While eating Eggland's Best Chicken Food will not harm your other birds, it is recommended that they are fed a diet formulated specifically for their dietary needs, as each species has different nutrient requirements to live their most healthy and productive lives.

Our hens don’t love the pellets, that I bought first, and their production has decreased. Can I mix these 2 until they finish the pellets?

My pet chicken likes this much more than a previous brand. Previous crumbles were powdery and just looked like crushed up rabbit pellets. This food seems to temp

My pet chicken likes this much more than a previous brand. Previous crumbles were powdery and just looked like crushed up rabbit pellets. This food seems to temp her more. She has to stay in a small enclosure while I'm at work (at least for now) and so I want her to have complete nutrition. I took a chance buying such a large bag, but the price was right.

Best chicken food

We love this brand, it’s the only one that has small enough kernels to flow through the feeder. Good quality, nice that I don’t have to drive to the feed store anymore

It's more like POWDER -- than "crumbles"

It's OK. It's just not a true crumble. 50% of it arrives so pulverized, it's powder. My girls won't eat powder -- so I wind up tossing out much of it. Disappointing

First timer

I've never raised chickens before and so I went based off the name because I recognized it from buying the eggs. The feed got here and I was so excited! I transfer

I've never raised chickens before and so I went based off the name because I recognized it from buying the eggs. The feed got here and I was so excited! I transfer my feed into a thing that holds the food that us portable. I had poured the majority of the bag into the holder, but the last part was all mouldy and hard. I don't know if the bag had a hole or not, I couldn't find any, but from the look and feel of it the mold had been there for a while. I removed an extra section from the holder in case the mold had spread, essentially salvaging the majority of the bag. My chicken does like the crumbles and she does like the food. I'm not sure if I'll purchase again though because of the mold. If I try a different brand and they hate it, then I'll switch back.
