Chemical smell

Chickens hated them, had to add messy loose straw on top anyways or they would go lay in the yard cause they hated them so much. I dont know if it was the chemical

Your packaging and shipping methods are terrible

3 deliveries in a row I've had damaged items leaking all through the Chewy box. You put zero packaging materials in the shipments so the items bounce around for

Great Nesting Box Pads

My girls love these nesting box pads. They are much easier to use than trying to put straw in the boxes. Once they are dirty, you can just lift them out and dispose

It’s nice that they can’t just throw it out of the box as soon as I fill it but it’s not comfortable- scratchy and stiff- they don’t use it as much. Finally took

Fit well and easy to change out if needed

These are a really nice pad for the nest box, they don't get pushed out or all into one corner like the loose bedding. I put a little of their old loose bedding

I put a little of their old loose bedding on top so they were still comfortable....mine HATE any change...even the weather. They took right to them and haven't had a cracked egg since!

Easy and ready to go!

Exactly what a "natural" chicken farmer starter needs and for an excellent price. They are a bit larger for smaller prebuilt coops so you may need to trim to size

Exactly what a "natural" chicken farmer starter needs and for an excellent price. They are a bit larger for smaller prebuilt coops so you may need to trim to size otherwise your hens might rip this thing to shreds trying to make it work (or so I learned). The straw is a bit wiry which may be uncomfortable to pampered backyard hens, so I don't recommend this product as a final for fancy breeds, but works great for training new layers!
