Camping must!
Bought this crate specifically for our camping trip- wanted something that folded flat for extra packing room- but with sides to create a "den" feeling for our husky. Got the M/L size in gray. She's about 55 lbs. This was perfect for her to use inside our cabin tent. We made it through a couple storms and we were impressed that she didn't have water in her bed, even though we had water in our tent! I can't speak to everyday use, but this is great for roadtrips/tenting.
Save your money
I am beyond disappointed with these crates. I purchased two of the purple ones. I have had to resew the seams on the zippers both where they are attached to the netting and on the crates several times on each crate! Now the stitching is coming undone and the black material that is on the bottom and up the sides. Plus to make things worse the actual purple material that the zipper is sewn onto is falling apart so eventually you will not be able the zippers back onto it. I have had the blue/grey crate that is pictured here for years and not ever had to repair it. I would not recommend the purple crates to anyone!!! I would give them a zero if i could!
Pup loved it so much, he ate it
This crate is nice, the bed inside is soft and it’s easy to assemble and break down. I have a 4 month old Pitty baby and he decided that he loved this crate so much that he wanted it in his tummy. This crate is definitely not chew proof, as mentioned in the description, but even with this happening, I couldn’t part with this crate. The Chewy team was an amazing help with figuring out the next steps, and were beyond helpful with a solution. My word of advice, don’t get this if you have a puppy who will do anything to be around you. Likely better for a dog who is fine chillin on their own, or is very well crate trained!
Very Nice Soft-sided Crate
I never had a soft-sided crate before and this one is very nice and sturdy. I was deciding between the 3-sided and 4-sided and glad I went with the 4-sided (3 sides and the top can be opened) with just screening. My 100 lb German shepherd dog does not chew so he sits quietly in it in the car. The Large size is tall enough for him to sit upright with just his ears bent a little bit. I think it was a good purchase for the money. Keep in mind if you want to use it in the back seat several inches of it will be over the edge and not offer support. I solved this by inserting a plastic bottom from his open wire kennel inside and it fit perfectly.
Happy To Have It
It took my Mini Schnauzer a week to be comfortable in her new bed, but it is now a safe space. Not difficult to put together, break down, or carry for a short female. Glad to have made the investment!

The crate was very easy to assemble. We'll be working on crate training for quite some time I'm sure but it's easy to have this in living space and move it if I need to clean.

I have been looking at the EliteField Collapsible crates for over a year now. My steel one weighs almost as much as I do, but I wasn't sure I could trust my dog to not chew. After 2 shows hauling the steel one around this year I said "Just do it" and bought this in blue-gray. When it arrived I went out and picked up the box easily and brought it to the living room. The first setup was a bit slow because I wanted to make sure I did it right (I'd read about the supports bending) Once you lined them up by bringing the loose ends to toward the center of the crate they just needed a bit of a push to slide the sleeve over. They are not problematic. I did have a bit of a time figuring out how to fold it down and put it away, but after I'd struggled for a bit I realized that I just had to control where the supports were hanging in the center. The crate goes up and down in less than 2 minutes without anymore pinched fingers or broken fingernails! My dog settled right in and I knew he was safe. We've been practicing the set up at home, and I can't wait to take it out to my next show!
Elite Field Soft Crate
Great soft crate! True to size! Very stable and well made!! Not good for pups not used to crates! Not chew proof!! I would highly recommend this to any pups 1 year and older.
great for crate training
This is overall good but the mat inside is styrofoam under the cover. So when your dog has an accident it basically will always be there. We got a different crate bed from chewy and just replaced it. Also make sure the zippers are pulled to the top, our puppy managed to push them open when we weren’t home one day!
Great for travel!
This crate is awesome for travel. The carrying case with shoulder strap is so convenient. Lightweight but sturdy. Love all of the color option; we chose the purple.
