Perfect for my 12 lb senior cat

I needed a cat tree that allowed my senior cat to step up gradually to the top where she likes to survey her domain. This tree is a great solution for her, and she accepted it within 24 hours. She takes the tree’s steps up and down rather than leaping off the top like she did with the old tree we had. We think that may be how she injured her back leg. We believe this new tree will be a much safer option for her. The top perch is smaller than the one she had, but she manages to curl up in this new one and take her cat naps. We are very happy with the purchase and assembly was not too much trouble with the supplied tool. The tree also seems sturdy.

Not suitable for a large or senior cat.

I have a 3 year old, 10lb cat. The stairs are big and roomy, but the top seat is a small circle. He would have to be in a tight ball to use it. Some cats sleep like

I have a 3 year old, 10lb cat. The stairs are big and roomy, but the top seat is a small circle. He would have to be in a tight ball to use it. Some cats sleep like that, but it wouldn't be suitable for a senior cat with arthritis. It would be perfect if that top piece was oval or larger. I give customer service a 5 star rating. This will be donated to the shelter where I adopted my cat.

The spiral stairs shrinks amount of floor space needed

I have an older kitty who doesn't like her roommates and so will only eat off the counter, except she can no longer jump that high. I left off the top cat bed and

The height of the stairs is perfect for her to independently get to her food and they don't take up as much floor space as regular stairs.

Was easy to assemble and feels sturdy. It has a finer carpet than the shaggy kind other cat trees usually use, so I think it will hold up better to rough treatment

They’re already interested and sitting it in, so definitely a win. They’re young, but I could see the steps being great for an elderly cat too.

Perfect for senior cat

Not too sturdy

This item came very well packaged. No parts missing. Easy for this 80-year-old to put together. However, it is small. My cats weigh 9 & 11 pounds. The top "seat"

This item came very well packaged. No parts missing. Easy for this 80-year-old to put together. However, it is small. My cats weigh 9 & 11 pounds. The top "seat" is too small for the larger cat. It also does not seem very sturdy & seems to be a little top-heavy.

Needs a bigger cat bed part

Maggie had to "help" me put this together. :-) After I (we) were finished I put it next to the window. She started up the steps purring all the way to the top

Maggie had to "help" me put this together. :-) After I (we) were finished I put it next to the window. She started up the steps purring all the way to the top step where she used the sisal step. For the first day or two she wouldn't go into the round bed part. After that she did but the round part is really small for a cat her size. I would recommend making it larger or selling it so you can order the diameter to fit your cat. She manages to squeeze into it and she likes to look out the window over a field next to the house. All in all it's a great height for cats to be able to see. I would have given 5 stars if she could fit in the round part comfortably. She is almost 17 pounds and it's a very tight fit.

Nice product, not great for large cats

My 6 adult cats run on the large size and this was a bit small for them to lounge on. Gave it to my son, who has smaller sizes and they 100% love it.

Love all the scratching posts.

Fur baby loves it. Plenty to scratch and with the tall sides I think she feels like she is hiding.
