Garlic

They love it. The other day I forgot to put it on their feed and I dumped it in the bottom of the buckets and they ate it like it was candy.

I started using this product last year. The one thing that I noticed was that my horse's interior ears were bite free. Also, this year not all of the pastured horses are on the garlic. My boarders opted not to use it. The gray mare is covered with flies. But, gray horses seem to attract more flies. I have not turned my overhead barn fly spray system on yet. The only flies in the stall area are of the few boarder's.

got this for my horses to help with fly control. All 3 horses would not eat this, even in very small amounts. I gave it to my neighbor who tried it with their 2 horses. Those horses would not touch it either. I ended up spreading it on the ground. I think it worked creating a perimeter of sorts on the ground to ward off bugs. At least it wasn't a total loss.
