Is this an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial shampoo? I see nothing on the label to indicate that it is either one.

Micro-Tek products have been in the marketplace for over 25 years, and have shown great efficacy on animals suffering from bacterial or fungal skin conditions. Since any product that makes a claim about being Anti-bacterial is considered a drug by the FDA, Micro-Tek does not claim that. They do claim that their products are very effective against the symptoms that bacterial and fungal skin conditions present.

Is this shampoo tearless? Will it hurt the puppies eyes if it gets in them?

This shampoo is safe to use in pet due to the quality of their ingredients, but as with all grooming products, eye contact should be avoided. If incidental eye contact does occur, flush with water immediately. If irritation persists, seek Veterinarian care.

My 8 year old husky/fox hound mix developed a 6” round hot spot the day after I washed him with this shampoo. He had never had a hotspot before in his life. I’ve not used it since and he has not had another hotspot. Took weeks and oral antibiotics and antibiotic powder to heal it. Would never recommend this shampoo to anyone.
