Coconut Flour is high in medium chain triglycerides (MCT’s) which are healthy saturated fats. These MCT’s can help with the elimination of bacteria, sustain hunger levels, increase cognitive ability, and eliminate excess yeast which could lead to skin irritations. Coconut flour, like pumpkin is also high in fiber supporting proper glucose levels, removal of toxins, and healthy stools.

When switching any food from your pet's diet it is important to transition over a weeks period. Mix approximately 25% of the new food in with the previous food for the first three days. For the next three days, mix half of the new food and half of the previous food for three days. Lastly, mix 25% of the previous food with the new food. At the end of this period, you will then be able to feed the new food to your dog solely.

Second time purchase

My cat loves this food. Dry food isn't the best choice for cats in general, but this is one of the better option out there. It contains the right kinds of meat sources for cats, and the nutrients are well balanced. The meat sources are clearly listed, so you know what your cat is eating. The kibbles are small, so it's easier for cats to digest (they generally don't chew). I personally would purchase this one along with a few other inde brands to ensure my cat gets a variety of nutrients. Highly recommend.

Great kibble, but too small.

My cats seem to like it, it is evident that it is a quality kibble which is high in protein and almost 0 fillers. I would only complain about the size of the kibble, which is too small for most cats taste since they like to taste what they are chewing. Please, try to improve sizing of the kibble by making it a little bit bigger and you'll have a winner product

Switch to this Cat Food ♡

Best cat food. All 5 of my babies love it. Pieces are small which is great for cats who tend to not chew their food. Great ingredients. Price is worth the quality. Easy bag you can zip up instead of having to use tape. Keep the food in its original bag don't transfer it to plastic containers that are no good. You could put the whole bag its self in an air tight container, it stays fresh longer and all around better, just a tip for your babies. Anyways, switch to this food ! ♡

Life Changing!

I have a cat with alot of allergies to vegetables and this food is literally the ONLY dry food I could find that didn't have any allergen ingredients and my cat goes crazy for this food!! She stopped eating her regular wet food and now only wants the Essesce dry food. This was a huge relief for me to find a dry food with these ingredients.

Wanted to love this food but…0

I wanted to love this food since the ingredients and the company seem great, but I can tell both of my two cats aren’t biggest fans of it compared to their last food. They do eat it, but they’re less likely to finish in one sitting. Also, this stuff makes their poop stink like nothing else I’ve ever smelled before, and I think it makes them poop more often too. I gave them some probiotic for a week, and though it helped a lot their poops are still way smellier than they were on their previous food.

Meh, but better than OceanFreshwater

All 4 of our cats ate this recipe better than the Ocean & Freshwater fish recipe, but it still wasn't a favorite. The package didn't contain a lot of crumbs like the Ocean & Freshwater fish, but I probably wouldn't buy this brand again, especially because of the price.

Solid Choice

Quality ingredients, reasonable price. One of my cats really enjoys eating this flavor; the other prefers Essence Ocean and Freshwater. There haven't been any upset stomachs alternating between the two flavors. The kibble bits are small but this seems to help the older cat from dropping bits.

Kibble so small cats have trouble eating

The ingredients are good and my cats seem to like the food. The issue is the kibble size. It looks like chicken feed, it's very tiny. The pieces fall out of my cats mouths so it is difficult for them to chew this food. I think most pieces just get swallowed whole. If the kibble were larger I'd give this 5 stars.
