All 4 of our cats from 5 month kitten to 14yo senior (who is not playful at all) LOVED this toy. The fish itself has a light crinkle that has been very popular and the fish flops very satisfyingly along the ground. It's also big enough for our littlest to use for kicking. I'd give this toy 5 stars easily if not for the string. The string is pretty short and it is not stretchy. The kitten has managed to get it wrapped around her, which is concerning and stressful when it happens. Luckily this toy also comes in a standalone version, so we ordered one of those as well and it's proven just as popular. The realistic patterns are also cute.

Wooden wand and fabric fishy, so minimum to no plastic, which I think is a really important. And even better news: he loves playing with it!

Dangerous!

This toy is awful and just downright dangerous. Most wand toys have a stretchy, elastic string that has some give to it. This one is constructed with regular cord

This toy is awful and just downright dangerous. Most wand toys have a stretchy, elastic string that has some give to it. This one is constructed with regular cord that gets tangled and tightens when tangled. My cat played with this for all of 3 minutes before the cord was tangled around her and she was stuck. Since there is no elastic to the cord, the more I tried to untangle her, the tighter the cord became. This toy is dangerous and should not be sold on this website or anywhere.

This is a really nice toy! My cat is picky isn’t doesn’t really like it, but I’m sure most cats will. The quality is nice and the fish is a great size.
