My cat loved to play and tip her water bowls over, or put her paws in the water to splash and play. I tried getting bigger and heavier bowls, but nothing worked. This bowl was the answer to my problems. My cat loved this bowl almost immediately. She will sit by it often and then drink from it. It also is made well and I can easily hand wash it and give her fresh water daily. I give my cats bottled water since I don't always trust the water from the tap.
This beautiful girl was abused by her former owner. We rescued her and she is very skittish. We noticed she was afraid of her silver reflective dog bowl and would jump back from it sometimes. We realized she was seeing her reflection and it scared her. None of that with the new ceramic bowl.
I bought nine and these work great! The 1.5 cup size is perfect for knowing my Italian Greyhounds get half a bowl per feeding. While they stay on carpets, they are durable and easy to clean. They fit easily into cardboard trays. Now I just need a feeding platform to raise their bowls!
The add for this "dog or cat" water, food bowl is a joke.!! Mine came today and my 8 month old cat's face could not even get in to get to the water. It's the size you might use for a Hamster or Ferret. I am so tired of misleading adds for these type things. !!
These bowls are absolutely beautiful! Much nicer to look at than any dog bowl I’ve ever seen and I’ve had dogs for decades. They keep the water colder much long than any other bowl with the exception of the YETI bowl. That said they’re no nearly as expensive as the YETI bowls.
These are great dishes! I use 2 different sizes for food dishes for the dog and water dishes for both. They are easy to clean and hold up well.
I bought these bowls because the stainless steel bowls I've been using move around when the dogs eat. The steel bowls also have a rim which rubbed paint off the baseboard molding. These bowls are heavy enough that the bowls don't move more than an inch or two and they don't have a rim.
Because it’s so flat, it gets very low very fast, so I have to fill it constantly.
Very strong ceramic bowl which is exactly what I wanted. I ordered it to be a water bowl. The down side is it is not very deep. I have 2 dogs and a cat so I have to fill it up several times a day.
If you top it off, holds about 5 cups of water not 6 cups. A little disappointed. Not as heavy as I thought either. But other than that it a great little water bowl.
