This bed has long fur, a puffy center, and a high back surround, and my 3 girls just love it! (I have 2 of the Frisco Donut Beds, and 1 Lesure High-Back, and they like to switch around.) They all took to this style of bed immediately. All of them love to sink into the middle and hang out, even our short-legged Lab-mix. At night, my larger Shepherd-mix sleeps very happily on her back, or snuggles her back into the high sides. Even the largest, our collie-greyhound, finds it comfortable, without having to curl up to fit. They do get warm and sometimes the pups need a break, but they seem soft and comfy and are getting a lot of use!

So Comfortable!

Sergeant has elected to start sleeping on this bed instead of my bed so you know it must be comfortable! We purchased the medium based on the recommended measurements (Sergeant is 22 pound miniature schnauzer) and it works perfectly for him. However, his puppy cousins now have the small version and Sergeant is more than happy to take a nap in their beds too so sizing down would have been an option.

Dog sort of likes it but I do not

I misread the dimensions and this is way too big for our dog but he seems to be ok with it. The pillow in the bottom is split, not totally round and when he sits

I misread the dimensions and this is way too big for our dog but he seems to be ok with it. The pillow in the bottom is split, not totally round and when he sits in the bed there is a huge hump from the other pillow. I also do not think it gives him much support but he looks comfortable using it. The horrible thing about this is washing it, first time was today. It took me almost 30 minutes to find the zippers and unzip them. Not exaggerating. The shaggy fur was already stuck in the zipper of the bottom section and kept getting more fibers stuck as I tried to finish. The zipper for the outer was a bit easier because very little got stuck. NO INSTRUCTIONS inside the box that this came with. I know all I have to do is log back in and find my purchase and look them up but that is inconvenient. I think I will have to donate this one as I am already dreading the next time I have to wash this monstrosity.

The bed is supportive and super soft. I haven’t washed it yet but the zipper is in between the cushions, hidden well and seems durable. I definitely plan on ordering again

Bought one of these a while ago and have washed in a few times (small size). Bought a second one that arrived today and although I thoguht it was misshapen and more floppy than the original, the other cat has already adopted it and loves it. It does smell a little and I probably should have aired it out for a day but it was just so cute how our big boy took to it immediately
