Cute toy but not made very well
By catmom6 on Feb 27, 2021
I bought this for my kitties to play with and I have bought several different wand toys from Chewy in 'the past. My cats were crazy for this toy but, unfortunely it wasn't made to stand up and was broke the very next day. Too much money for a toy to last one day. Maybe you will have better luck with this toy but, do not be surprised if it breaks very quickly.

My cats loved it so much they broke it...
By Valerie on Dec 5, 2020
- I never used the telescope feature (I always had it at full length) - At one point the telescope feature actually broke and I couldn't fix it - The feather part kept disconnecting from the wand, but it is easy to fix - My cats love it so much they play with it without me, as a result they have ripped the feather off the wand and lost the wand. My one cat Lychee carries the feather around the house like she has just killed a bird. - They started actually ripping individual feathers out. - The feather and wand have a great bounce, which makes the toy really entertaining - I would say I got maybe 3? months of use before it broke and lost Overall, my cats really like it so I definitely - I never used the telescope feature (I always had it at full length) - At one point the telescope feature actually broke and I couldn't fix it - The feather part kept disconnecting from the wand, but it is easy to fix - My cats love it so much they play with it without me, as a result they have ripped the feather off the wand and lost the wand. Obviously pets are not careful with their toys, so any pet toy will break at some point. If it wasn't so easy to separate the feather from the wand, I would give it 5 stars. … more

Disintegrated on arrival, but fixable and loved
By Forge on Nov 13, 2020
This photo was taken in our entryway mere seconds after opening the package. The feathers completely exploded out of the holder upon first playtime. It was fixable with some hot glue, but it was clearly not securely glued in properly in the first place. Thankfully, my cats love it. We go though feather toys quickly, so I wanted something replaceable. So far, the telescoping pole seems to be holding up. We try not to let our cats get too much tension on the pole, but the pole, and the creases on the fishing line would be my main 2 concerns for a break point on what we hope is effectively a long-term replaceable-end toy.

Cat’s Absolute Favorite, but Easily Broken
By MegB on Nov 26, 2020
This is my cat’s absolute favorite toy. The bounce of this thing is awesome, as is the length of the rod. In dire circumstances, I’m able to play with my cat with one hand while working at my computer. I’ve bought this toy probably 5 or 6 times because it’s his favorite, but it is easily broken, unfortunately. I’ve had the rod snap at least twice and the feathers do detach quite easily. Fixable to a point (super glue and duct tape), but honestly I’m going to keep buying it because I’ve never seen my cat go crazy for any other toy.

New favorite toy!
By CrazyCatLady on Dec 21, 2020
My cat Finnegan LOVES this teaser toy! He is super picky so it was nice to finally find a toy he loves. I will be buying replacement feathers because he likes to pull the feathers out.

Easily breaks
By Mojo on Oct 31, 2020
This broke very easily, maybe on the 4th time my cat played with it. The rod is very flimsy and doesn't stand up to playtime.

She loves this new fun toy
By AMAZING on Jun 3, 2020
I keep this awesome toy hidden away in a drawer so that my cat only gets to play with it every other day or so. The reason I do this is so that she doesn’t get tired of it quickly. She sniffs the drawer begging me to pull it out and play and I comply of course :-). She LOVES IT!!!!!

Five Paws up!
By Gianna on May 22, 2020
When my little Atlas was a baby, this was the ONLY toy that brought out that playful nature of his! When we needed a new one, our local store stopped selling them and have been scrambling to find the toy that brings Atlas such joy. Shoutout to Chewy for bringing it online for us! Thank you so much!

Love the telescoping wand
By Toddy on May 2, 2020
The telescoping wand is great because if I want more range while playing with the cats, I can lengthen the wand. This is a great option. Every time I bring this out to play the cats are all over it. The bell on the end jingles and serves as an alert that its time to play. They love it!

Broke after 5 minutes
By MarkysMom on May 4, 2020
I really wanted this one to be a back-up toy for the Hartz fishing pole that I already had (which is currently out of stock). The wire came apart from the pole five minutes into kitty play.
