Heat bulb for lizard habitat. It does require a different fixture than I have used in the past. It’s great for keeping my bearded dragon tank warm during the cooler months. It’s a brand I’ve trusted for years and gets the job done. I have tested the temperature in my tank with a laser thermometer, and this bulb is reliable. My dragon is just starting brumation so he’s been over on the cool side more than normal and hiding a bit more often, but for the time he sat basking and getting warmed up, this bulb worked well. The bulb arrived with no damage and the package was in excellent condition also.

This is a super high quality heat bulb. It’s a good weight, black ceramic heat emitter that has been running strong for a month so far. It keeps my 120 gallon tank

This is a super high quality heat bulb. It’s a good weight, black ceramic heat emitter that has been running strong for a month so far. It keeps my 120 gallon tank for my bearded dragon at a perfect 80 degrees for overnight warmth. This time during the colder months, I use this Exo Terra CHE as well as a regular basking bulb to keep the tank up to its normal 90 degrees for the basking spot. This bulb has worked excellent at doing that. I will definitely repurchase this.

I am using the Exo Terra ceramic heater as an additional heat source for keeping 5 Desert tortoise hatchlings warm in a 50 gallon trough. Alongside with the ceramic heater, I use a basking spot light and a UVB light. Temperatures run around 92-95 F. On one side of the enclosure, no heat is provided so that the tortoises can go to in case they get overheated. During the night, while the lights go off, this ceramic heater keeps them warm in the high 80’s to low 90’s (f). It’s a lifesaver in keeping them warm and active during their first winter.

This heat lamp provides enough heat source for a 40 gallon tank. I put it on a thermostat that allows it to be turned off. It keeps the tank at a perfect temparture

The Exo Terra Ceramic Reptile Heater Bulb does what it’s supposed to do — it gives off heat without producing any light, which is great for maintaining nighttime temps without disturbing your reptile’s sleep cycle. It warms up reliably, but I didn’t notice a huge difference compared to similar ceramic bulbs at a lower price point. Overall, it works fine, just not impressive enough to rate higher.

Great light to keep my girl warm at night.

Appears to be working as intended. Eva is nice and toasty in her habitat every night. I have no way to measure except that I know her area is at the right temperature

I got this bulb to use as an additional warm spot for my aquatic turtles to bask outside of the water. The bulb works great and will keep them quite warm. It fit into the light we already had so I’m very pleased. I could see myself even using this as a heat lamp working the garage over the winter or setting it up somehow to help the feral cats keep warm outside.

We needed a replacement heater/bulb for my daughter's bearded dragon. Our old bulb had to be turned off at night. This new bulb doesn't emit light so we can leave it on overnight and won't disturb his day/night cycle! I would definitely recommend this light to other bearded dragon moms.
