Keep your crickets safe inside Exo Terra’s Cricket Pen with Dispensing Tubes! Crickets like dark spaces, which is why this pen comes equipped with two black dispensing tubes to encourage your critters to crawl inside. The main portion of the pen is completely clear, so you can keep an eye on your crickets and the top has plenty of ventilation for ample air flow. And when it comes time to remove the lid, the tubes remain in position to help ensure your crickets don’t escape. Every purchase also comes with a cricket food dish and a water bowl.
Comes with two tubes, so you can easily dispense your crickets into the pen.
Ideal for housing and dispensing live crickets.
The tubes stay in place when the lid is removed to help keep crickets contained.
Complete cricket care kit comes with a food dish and water bowl.
This cricket pen is awesome. I was reading some reviews that said the crickets escaped. Don’t see how that is possible. I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and, have 20 small crickets and not one has escaped! Love the sponge water dish, I watch them sit on it and drink. They drink a lot, remember to keep the sponge wet. The tubes are awesome! Makes feeding my salamander, so simple. Going to order another one so I can have something to put them in while cleaning out each pen. Highly recommend this. There was a small crack down the side, when I got it but I just covered it with clear packing tape. Hasn’t caused any issues.

Don't bother. Crickets can basically walk right out of this thing. After losing a whole batch of "small-medium" crickets overnight, I taped up most of the top. Went back to local pet store and bought more crickets. Half escaped. Put this box inside a 2-gallon Ziploc bag with the top unzipped but, raised all the way up. It was a pretty good solution. I have 4-7 crickets in the bag every morning when I get up. I dump them back into the box every day and do it all over again the next day. I have found crickets all over my dang house for months bc of this "keeper". It was knocked off the kitchen counter by our kitten yesterday and the side now has a long crack in it. Cracked cricket keeper
on Feb 7, 2021
I love Chewy and have always had 100% success. I ordered a cricket keeper. It was cracked. I messaged Chewy, they immediately shipped me another one. Got it the next day. Didn’t open it until yesterday when we bought new crickets. It’s also cracked. We decided duct tape would be the best approach and we’ll make it work.
Best way to take care of my "cricks"!!
on Dec 31, 2020
I had my crickets in a lidded bucket before.
Was a little difficult to scoop 1 with a cup!
The little nasty buggars would jump up my arm while I tried to get just 1 out!
This container is awesome!!!
I just take a tube and hang it over my frog's cage and tap the tube like ashing a cigarette and one falls in!
I love it!
Also very easy to clean up.
Escapees with smaller crickets
on Nov 21, 2020
I was pretty excited to have this new pen just as my new shipment of half inch crickets came in. They really did go right into the tubes! Seemed all good. Then I checked on them later and... Disappointment. I had to chase a few escape artists around my daughter's room. What is the point of all the great extra features if it does not fulfill it's prime function of keeping the crickets in? I had to run to Lowe's and buy a bin, modify the lid, and hot glue on some aluminum mesh to keep these bugs out of my daughter's room. What a waste. I did use the food and water dishes in the new bin though!!
WASTE OF TIME & MONEY

I was so excited to start getting my crickets 50 at a time. Only 2 or 3 even went up the tubes and they all died in just a few days. I went and bought 50 again...same thing. I cleaned it out and put it away. I guess I'll just buy them 12 at a time and just put them in with my lizards. I kept bottled water and the yellow gelled food in there for them too but it seemed to be a lost cause. I'm disappointed and done.
Put the Food and Water Dishes in BEFORE the Crickets!!
on Nov 4, 2020
Made the silly mistake of putting the crickets in before the food and water dishes... very difficult to get them in with the little guys running around, and accidentally squished one, haha.
The little flaps dont always close after pulling the tubes, so just be aware that escape may occur. Dont assume they have closed.
Very easy to dispense crickets in to feed my frogs, though!
