This food would be good if you are trying to get rid of squirrels in your yard - or any other hungry creature prowling for food. NOTHING WILL EAT IT!!!!!! Even the rats won't eat the little orange carrot pieces!
Seeing the other reviews, I wanted to leave one for those who rehab or have ones with issues they now care for as pets, as is the case our once temporary rehab from a hurricane. He is still with us and is unable to live successfully in the wild. This is one of his favorites and he does eat all of the contents, even finding the hidden favorites that he has buried in his substrates earlier and saved for later.
Finally have been able to diversify the squirrels food and they seem to love it.
The squirrels are eating it, they like it so I'll probably buy more again.
I don't think our squirrels want to be healthy. They will rummage through the treat to get the pumpkin seeds but they won't eat the carrot slivers. And neither will the birds. I thought this treat would keep the squirrels from eating all the bird seed. It didn't. It may work for others but I think I will look for a treat that's mostly pumpkin seeds.
