Can it be used for all life stages?

This food is suitable for all-life stages as it contains all the nutrition necessary for growth, reproduction and development. Offer approximately 3 tbsp of Hedgehog Complete to your pet daily. Adjust the amount fed to ensure your pet's optimum body weight. Provide live, canned, or dried insects weekly to vary the diet. Additional vitamins are not necessary if your pet's diet is made up of at least 75% Hedgehog Complete. Do not leave moistened food out for more than 12 hours, change out pellet food every 24 hours. Always provide fresh drinking water to your hedgehog.
How many tablespoons of food in a 2lb bag?

The 2 pound bag has approximately 52.5 tablespoons. The 5 pound bag has approximately 132 tablespoons.
Is it ok to feed to squirrels?

This high-protein pellet mixed with fresh grains & dried mealworms is suitable for European, Asian, and African hedgehogs. For squirrels, the Exotic Nutrition Complete Squirrel Food would be a great alternative option.
Is there a production date on the bags? How do I know it is fresh?

Every expiration date will be different for each bag, as different batches are constantly being produced. The expiration date will be stamped on the side/back/bottom of the bag.

Awesome bugs

I love that I now have a food with bugs in it, but the pellets are so yucky, I pick out all the bugs they're the best part!!!! Just leave the other stuff and your mommies will dump them out!

This is Toxic!

LOOK AT THE INGREDIENTS! The first ingredient is Blood Meal. It is toxic. It is for your garden to increase nitrogen levels! Do not feed this to your hedgehogs!

In Love With The New Dish

I recently got Pollito from a friend due to the fact that she couldn’t support him and I offered to take him. She gave me a small bag of food and the proportion she was showing me had me worried and I searched up the food that she was feeding him and it was not healthy for a hedgehog at all. So on Thursday I saw that I only had one serving left and so on Friday I ordered from Chewy and I was so worried that my hedgehog wouldn’t have food for 5 to 7 days because that’s usually how long it takes to ship an item. But today is Saturday and I was greeted with a box of food and I am so grateful for the fast shipping. Since he’s never been around people for a long period of time and I’m his recently new owner and hopefully his last, he is a little bit distressed so when I gave him the food he started eating it but then I started moving around and he started getting scared but hopefully as time goes by he’ll start building more trust in me :)

Will Not Eat

Tried this for my Hedgehog and she refused to eat it. I even tried to mix it with dry cat food she likes and no go

Hedgehog doesn’t like

The pellets are kind of big, and the meal worms are big as well. My hedgehog eats but does not seem to like it as he throws his bowl around the cage, which he didn’t do with his other food. There is also a lot of powder.

He will eat everything aroung the food. He will pick it out and its in a pile by his bowl every morning.

Love this food!

Our hedgehog loves this food! It has all of the things he needs to eat, plus plenty of the bonus things he loves to eat. It's a great deal and great food! Can't beat that!
