Handy gadget
Handy simple little gadget. Had some trouble with the bag falling off at first, but found it works fine if the bag is either knotted or (if you keep the bag unknotted for multiple poops) if you twist and double over the neck of the bag, before sticking it through the hole.
Love this!
Ordering two more for my other leashes. I carry two fresh bags in the holder and when I need to use one I stuff one clean one in my pocket or back through the hole with the used one. It's easy and convenient and light as a feather. It doesn't tangle on or get wrapped up in anything. It's great.
Great idea but...
While the idea is great there are some major flaws. Flaw 1, too short to effectively use, and Flaw 2: the tab to form the loop rarely catches to stay closed. If the strap were longer by 1-2" it could be inserted into the slits on the other end and hold together without need for the little tabs. I did this and it worked great except it is so short the poopbag may as well be hand held. I hope they can fix those issues because if so I'd buy one.

I’m not crazy about the fact no instructions were included ( I’m not sure I have it on correctly ) but I wrapped it then it had little bumps to kind of latch similar to an old fashioned watch band - I tried to line up the hole w “bump” and it continually comes apart but even with that annoying part , it stays on the leash bc it’s pulled tight abs the material is a rubber that is grippy! It’s def worth the price it would be perfect if it simply had a twist on type connected
Hands free
There were no instructions with this bag holder so I went back to the Chewy site and saw how this connects to my pet's leash. It works great, and I can move it from one leash to the other. (I like to wash the leashes from time to time.) I do keep a roll of bags in my pocket at all times and this is the perfect solution to store the used bags until I can properly dispose of them. It helps keep my hands free letting me manage my very active, young dog.
