My Cats Lick the Gravy and Leave the Rest

I ordered this Fancy Feast Tuna in Gravy Minced Senior cat food for my senior cats because I thought I remembered that they really liked it. I guess I forgot that they only liked the gravy. They slurp the gravy enthusiastically, licking it all off of the minced food and then leaving it in the bowl uneaten. Of course the gravy alone is not enough of a meal for them and they still want something to satisfy their hunger. I then must provide them with another type of food. On the plus side, though, I can feed this food to a feral cat who has no one to look after him. He is frightened of human contact in any form, but I can leave this food in a bowl and when I go back into the house, he devours every morsel. I am on the fence about recommending this food, because it might be fine for other cats... just not mine, unfortunately.

My cat has always like fancy feast but does not seem to like this tuna minced. she is getting old and likes the gravy cat food. I will keep trying until I find one she likes. She liked Salmon in gravy when I first started buying it but now your fancy feast are too big of pieces, I hope I can find a minced one she likes.

My 2 older cats love this. So glad I found it. Makes feeding time so much easier. I still rotate with other Fancy Feast as I don't want them to tire of the Tuna Feast

it is hard to find food that my 18 year old will eat-usually I throw half the can away. the minced food with gravy is easy for her to eat

How do I like the Fancy Feast I bought?

We have four cats. Two were taken in from a lady moving to a nursing home. Three of the cats only want chicken so the Delectables I buy them are perfect. One cat was not eating and seemed to turn her nose up at the food so I gave in and tried Fancy Feast tuna flavor and she devours it. She also has to be fed on the dining room table which drives me crazy but so be it. She cries every morning now for breakfast and so has to be the first fed. Thank you Fancy Feast! Problem solved!

Fancy Feast Senior Wet Food

Was afraid they might not eat the minced foods, since sometimes they'll lick the gravy & leave the bits of food, but they do pretty well with this. Just seem to prefer some flavors over another.

My fish lovers in this house love it. It isn't often the 3 fur babies agree but they do about the taste of this one.

My finicky senior cat LOVES this product! I was feeding him "people" tuna fish because he was so fussy but he is finishing every can of the senior tuna feast in gravy minced I feed him.
