A healthy choice
My 5 year old cairn loves this kibble. She’s a bit overweight. Can’t say she lost any weight. Maybe 1/2 lb but she hasn’t gained since I switched four months ago. Also she’s less active (cause I am ) during the cold NY winters, and previously gained weight during this time. She has a history of digestive sensitivity, but hasn’t had any stomach issues or problems with this kibble. I initially ordered the mini size (she’s 20 lbs) , but didn’t think she was chewing the kibble. Seems to take a bit longer to eat with the med max size which is what I will purchase again. This was one of the brands recommended by my dog’s veterinarian for nutritional value. Honestly she will eat just about anything, so the main reason I selected this kibble is its a lower calorie food with high quality ingredients.
Low fat OTC food
My dog recently had pancreatitis, and either needed to remain on a prescription diet or OTC with similar fat levels to prevent chronic pancreatitis. I had a hard time finding anything below 13%, until I stumbled on farmina, it’s the closest to the prescription diets (9%). He loves it (he loves anything though), and his poops are consistent. Couldn’t ask for more :)
Good low calorie food
This is the main food we feed our dog . She likes it and does well on it . We sometimes buy other brands to mix it up a bit so Maya can eat something different, but will never switch from Farmina.
GREAT FOR MY GOLDEN
Changed my Golden’s diet from Royal Canin to this healthier and lower calorie dog food. It is helping him to take off some weight. I am currently alternating between this brand and the Royal Canin, or a mixture of both to get him used to it. No issues.
Happy Picky Eater
My dog is super picky about his food- I’ve tried science diet, blue buffalo, and pro plan before this then was recommended as the best food for picky eaters at Chuck and Don’s. For the first time he actually ate this with no topping and had a scary amount of energy in the first week.
picky eater approved!
I was looking for a food with no peas, potatoes or legumes that was also grain inclusive that would help my dog shed some pounds. When I stumbled upon this is was I excited, but nervous because I know my dog can be picky. Luckily she loves this food! She went from 67lbs to a healthy 60lbs with this food and some additional walks. Very happy with the ingredients and the results! :)
Dog gone good
My 2 Aussies gobble this food up. They seem to like all flavors. They are healthy happy high drive dogs. I’ve noticed they have fewer bowel movements with this food. Pricey but worth it.
Finally, the food we've been looking for...
I was looking for a high protein, low fat, food that doesn't have any peas (or pea starch, pea fiber, etc.) in it. My labrador seems to enjoy it.
My slightly porky Great Pyrenees loves it. Wanted to add some grain d/t current reports on grain free food.
