    Excellent Customer Service

    By on

I accidentally ordered a 26 lb bag of this dog food except the adult version for my 8 week old puppy. I didn’t realize it was the wrong one until I opened the bag and saw how big the kibble was. I didn’t expect anything from Chewy because the error was all mine, but I contacted them anyway after a friend suggested it based on her past experience with them (positive). When I reached out to them, they immediately refunded my money, offered to order me the right bag with free shipping and told me to donate the open bag to a local shelter (which I did). The new food arrived quickly and my pup is a happy one.

Great food on paper, not for the puppy's bowels :(

    By on

I am sure I don't need to go into too much detail here, but this has not gone over well with my puppy. I also bought the adult version, and that hasn't worked either! I tried a very slow transition, backed off a bit even, but whenever this kibble is added into their normal, we have very soft to liquid stools. On paper though, VERY good food ingredient wise, and even into manufacturing and QC. I have never had a grain inclusive food do this to my pups!

    HAS A BAD SMELL

    By on

This is the 2nd time getting this. Both times now it has a really bad smell to it. The 1st time I thought it was the container I stuck it in. But now just opening the new bag I know otherwise. I’m not sure to continue feeding this to my puppy or not. Is the horrible smell normal??? I also feed him nature’s logic and that brand doesn’t have a horrible smell. My next auto shop I picked the ocean hearing /orange flavor but now thinking to choose a different brand.

    Super food

    By on

We just recently got a Cane Corso puppy. Our breeder recommends this brand. He LOVES it. Never fussy about eating & no upset tummy. In fact it is so good, we got the adult for our Rottweiler. She gobbles it up too!!

Very Large Kibble for a puppy

    By on

I was disappointed in the kibble when I opened the bag. The kibble are very big, too big for a puppy of 8 weeks old to eat. I had to buy another brand of kibble that fit his size. This kibble is for large breeds that are well over 3-5 months of age to be able to chew and swallow these without choking.

    Great quality food

    By on

I really should give it five stars, but my pup is not an enthusiastic eater by nature, so I don't get the pleasure of seeing him gobble this up like crazy--but he likes it better than anything else we've tried and the ingredients are top-notch.
