This food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance of adult dogs.

What type of potato is in the recipe? What is the sodium content per cup? Probiotics in this recipe?

This recipe uses sweet potatoes. The sodium content is 0.30% as fed and 0.32% dry matter. Due to the impossibility of having reliable, stable results with probiotics added to pet food, Farmina prefers to feed the existing bacterial microbes with prebiotics. Source of prebiotics for Farmina are inulin, Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), mannanoligosaccharides (MOS), and other sources of soluble fiber, able to create the perfect environment for the existing microbes to thrive well and keep or reestablish normal intestinal health. Farmina extracts them from vegetables, fruits and roots, so they’re completely natural.

My dog absolutely loves this kibble, and she’s usually a very picky eater. Before switching, I had to mix in wet food just to get her to eat. With Farmina Vet Life, she happily eats the dry kibble on its own. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the Farmina staff, and they were incredibly kind, understanding, and supportive of my Nubia.

We THINK this is working well !?!

Pure Lab, not my first with a sensitive stomach, but for sure the hardest and allergic to like, everything. We have ALWAYS struggled with this, and now at 4 years

Pure Lab, not my first with a sensitive stomach, but for sure the hardest and allergic to like, everything. We have ALWAYS struggled with this, and now at 4 years old, we are having to again find another food as what he was doing well on was 'bought out' and something changed. This one, he will eat it! We got another formula he would not eat, not even a bite, which was weird with this dog...!! But he eats this one OK, we made a really quicker than should transition due to how bad of a reaction he had to the last try and so far, so good! The shedding has seemed to stop (still flaking some, but we are just a few days in of 100% on this food) and he has had 2 great poo's!!! You know you have suffered with a dog when you are SO happy for a good poo that is easy to pick up! We are to early to tell completely, but so far he seems to be reacting very well!!! - and for this dog and the paragraphs of stuff he is allergic too, and all the stufff I can list we have tried, that is saying something. BTW, Chewy says "Potato" on ingredients and on the bag it is really Sweet Potato just FYI

Did not improve itching
