My horse Quitt chewing on wood

My horse is part beaver. He killed at least 5 trees at the last boarding stable and started chewing his stall wall in a brand new barn when we moved. But that stopped

My horse is part beaver. He killed at least 5 trees at the last boarding stable and started chewing his stall wall in a brand new barn when we moved. But that stopped within a week when I started giving him Quitt. He goes through a bucket every 3-4 months so the price isn't so bad, but it's worth it not to be the owner of the horse that's chewing on the stall door/walls!

Worked in 3 days

My horse is an absolute beaver. Eats gates, fences, painted jump poles, and her favorite is pressure treated structural barn beams. It's a nightmare. We've tried jolly stall snacks, slow feed hay nets, increased work load, turnout, you name it. Turns out it was a calcium deficiency, which alfalfa in the PNW can lack, I guess. After three days of Quitt, she quit eating wood, and she hasn't taken a bite of it in weeks. Now I know what to address in her diet!

Purchased this with high hopes, after reading the reviews. Not sure why it worked with other horses, mine are so busy chewing on tree's and the fence, they look like beavers!! Quit has been a complete waste of time and money for me. My horses have winter rye to eat, plenty of hay, good nutrition, and a wonderful habit of wood chewing.....UGH

It seems during the time feeding this my horse's chewing is even worse. She's chewed half her door. Not the results that were advertised. I followed the directions

Still hoping

I've used this stuff in the past and it worked. Four years later, same horses and it isn't working as well. No, they haven't been on it for 4 years, I just started

I've used this stuff in the past and it worked. Four years later, same horses and it isn't working as well. No, they haven't been on it for 4 years, I just started it again. They actually started eating the fence more when I started them on the Quitt. The one horse that wasn't chewing started to chew. Very strange. Well it's been 2 weeks on Quitt and the chewing is slowing down but I also started bringing them in at night where they were out 24/7. Hoping to not do much more fence repair. 3 boards in one day was crazy.
