Questions & Answers

1 Customer Questions

My horse does not receive grain except in the winter, because it makes her very hot. Can I just feed her a scoop of the supplement, or does it need to be mixed in feed.
Answer by ChewyJul 16, 2021
Farnam Vita Plus Balanced Multi-Vitamin & Mineral Pellets Horse Supplement can be given directly to the horse if they don’t eat grain. If they don’t want to eat it on its own, it is recommended mixing a little grain with it.

It's a win

Both horses eat it without complaints and it's helped hoof growth. They both look great and it's winter.

Tried and true

Vita Plus has been around for years. I needed a vitamin supplement for my miniature horses and was having a hard time wading through all the fancy and expensive supplements that are available these days. I came back to Vita Plus, having used it years ago. The horses like it and it's taking care of what I needed for them.

Seems to be working

My horse likes these pellets added to her food. She doesn't pick around them like some supplements she's had in the past. They also appear to be working because she is drinking more water now.
