It works because he cannot destroy it by chewing it up and it’s difficult and he becomes disinterested when trying to remove it from the feeding spot. I Should have

Double wall SS rather than plastic.

Dog had no trouble adapting to it. He went from a 10-15 second eater to taking 60-90 seconds to finish his meal - but at least he isn’t inhaling it now. A little
