I started using this food for my kitty because she has had a really bad hot spots and has got some type of food allergy. So I started running some food trials with a novel protein. She seemed to do really well on this and started to heal up. I was so excited so I ordered another bag. Well this bag says it is not made in the US anymore and it is now made in Belgium. Day one and she threw up a lot of this food. I know with any food you're supposed to make a transition, but I didn't know they changed the formula on this otherwise it would have saved some of the old food to transition. I just don't trust this food not being made in the US anymore. I probably will not buy again.

Was hoping to transition my cat to this dry food completely...but she's not having it. At 14.5 yrs she's developed minor digestion and hairball issues. She was already on a good brand food for Sensitive tummies, but I wanted to transition her to a food with even less ingredients. She loves, loves, loves her existing dry food and really does not like this Feline Caviar. Bummer. So now I am mixing the 2. She picks out the yummy stuff she likes, and then eventually eats the rest as a last resort. More than likely, I may discontinue the Feline Caviar. I am currently trying other hairball/vomiting remedies. She has not thrown up in a while. I'll see how she does and then make a choice about discontinuing (or not) the Feline Caviar.

I’ve been feeding these as treats before I mixed with their normal food as I was concerned by stomach upset. There were no issues at all. The texture is hard enough for keeping up dental health. It actually smells good for a cat food to a human compared to others. The ingredients are definitely of a superior brand. The cats , all 6 of them really liked it. It couldn’t have arrived at a better time for one of my very small cats that was coming off of a wet diet and lots of meds for chewing a tv cord and burning 1/3 of his tongue. This was small enough for him to chew in the back without effecting the tip and sides of his tongue that was ulcerated from the burns. Life saver.

I was excited for my cats to tey this food because it is full of great ingredients that I look for in a cat food including animal protein being the first ingredient. I also look for the added taurine, and a feline appropriate amount percentage of protein. This food checked all the boxes for me! Unfortunately, my cats were not crazy about it. Maybe its just because they're used to a salmon based food and this is venison.

Made cats vomit !.

Whether you’re a human or a dog, cat, whatever, your food shouldn’t make you sick enough to vomit. Both my cats vomited this stuff !. And they barely ate any because

I have a 10 year old long-haired rescue cat who has been eating this food. I was curious if my cat would chose this preparation if also offering her old dry food. She went to the Feline caviar each and every feeding. The kibble is a dark rich brown . The aroma of this dry food reminds me of beef strew and the kibble is very small. My cat never once had an emesis while eating this food. The 4.4 bag has a resealable top, which I found with many try’s, to not be able to get the bag to stay shut as intended.

On par with most high quality kitty kibbles.

Because it's not safe to just switch cats over to a new food, I mixed this in with their current food. I can't say that I have really noticed a difference but anytime something smells a little different then what they have every day they usually attack it. I wouldn't say they hated it for sure, and it didn't seem to give them any issues, I like the ingredients lost but I would have to do a cost analysis on a full size bag to really know if it would be worth it. It sounds fancy, but as it is a kibble, I can't really see a significant difference between this and other high quality kitty kibbles. This means that cost would be the determining factor on whether this would be a switch or not.

My cat ate it, did not seem overly excited but he did not turn up his nose. I like the limited ingredients, that would be helpful if your pet has allergies. From the perspective of a pet owner, i think this price point is a little high for food that is not that exceptional. It is perfectly adequate cat food, but not so amazing for that price.

My two cats were pretty excited about trying their new food and really semmed to enjoy it. I've been leaving them a bowl of both their old food and the Feline Caviar and they seem to be eating both. I love the limited ingredient aspect because that can really help those animals with allergies and stomach issues. The food is small and round so a good size. If you're looking for a LID food Is recommend this.

If one thing is true about the member of my family, it’s that we are picky eaters; Sir Archibald is no exception. Getting his food switched was no easy feat but once done, there was a noticeable difference. His coat is silkier, he’s more active, and stopped eating the dog food. Will be looking for this food in a different ‘flavor’ for him to help with his pickiness though
