This is hands-down the best tool I could’ve purchased to help my kitties prevent hairballs. I thought I had a brush that got the undercoat, but I was absolutely wrong. I think I just took off three years worth of undercoat and both my cats look significantly smaller. Can’t recommend enough for medium to long-haired animals. This photo is just a fraction of undercoat I got the first time i used the brush!

Pyrenees have long hair!

We purchased the brush for our Pyrenees they are working dogs but need to stay groomed as best we can. The brush tugs their long hair and they were not happy

So I switched to using the brush on our other working dogs with shorter fur. It works great for them. I've used a few other similar products before. I like the rounded edges on the blades of the comb, so I don't feel like it's uncomfortable for my pup. With a border collie, deshedding is so important and this worked well. The one downside for Sam is that it does cause a lot of static. I figure I can combat that with a dryer sheet, but Sam is such a baby that I didn't want to let him go and then have to chase him again. He did warm up to it and even let his little person brush him. Maggie doesn't care about anything, so she sat nicely through the static.

I’ve used numerous dog combs over the years. My two Holdens shed quite a bit and no other comb has ever removed so much of their hair. Highly recommend this for all long haired dogs. My cat also likes it and his hair gets knotted easily but this comb takes care of the knots. Yiu will not be sorry if you invest in this comb
